"Since I debuted at a young age, it's true that I've spent my time in a somewhat different environment compared to others my age. But because of those experiences, I believe I've been able to express what I've felt and thought more honestly through music and various creative works. And if those stories can become even a small source of inspiration for someone else, I find that meaningful in itself.

That's why, rather than seeing this as just a profession I have to adapt to, I've come to accept and enjoy it as a natural part of my life- along with the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes with it.

There were many unfamiliar things and unknowns along the way but the process of learning and discovering them one by one has been incredibly enjoyable. For me, making music, thinking about performances, and trying out new ideas all feel like a continuous learning journey… That's probably why I've been able to keep creating for over a decade now. There are still so many things I want to try, and I hope to keeр growing in new ways moving forward."

"I try to express my inner struggles, imperfections, and human emotions more honestly. As those elements naturally seep into the music, I believe they are conveyed more sincerely to the listeners as well. Ultimately, I think music is about people and their stories, so as my own emotions and experiences accumulate, my music also seems to grow deeper over time.

Since I've already had many albums produced for me up to now, I wanted to take on new challenge rather than repeat the same approach. I don't believe there is a single "right" path, and I felt that if I created something through my own thoughts and careful consideration, I wouldn't have any regrets about the outcome. As the responsibility grows, so do the worries and pressure, but I find the entire process itself to be a very meaningful experience."

"Sometimes, as soon as I hear a song, images of the stage or movements naturally come to mind. In those cases, I try to communicate the ideas I envision as clearly and specifically as possible to the choreographer I'm working with. After that, we exchange ideas, refine the movements. and go through multiple rounds of revisions before completing a performance. In the end, I believe choreography is created from the music itself, which is why the process of visualising those images is such an important part of the work for me."

"Being recognised as the 'first K-pop male solo artist' is a great honour to me personally, and at the same time, I feel a strong sense of responsibility. As this is a moment that many people are looking forward to, I want to deliver a performance that truly lives up to that title. For this Coachella performance, we are preparing not only previously released songs but also many new ones. We are putting in a lot of effort to make the energy and atmosphere something you can only truly feel on-site, even more special and memorable. ~ "It (Long Way Home) was a very new experience for me personally, and it's a song that was created through a lot of discussions with the people I worked with. This track represents a starting point for my upcoming activities.
