Tseri Kinara

So an Au Ra, just got his cast off and apparently was challenged by this Hyur. Or. The Hyur insulted his... heritage? I thought there was supposed to be practice and I wanted to know what the other half does. This was not practice. This was an unfair... and. utterly. Strange. Spar? I think? It might have been a real fight although I wouldn’t know anyone to just spar, naked, Either that it was the worst game of chicken I’ve ever saw. Well I joked about bets and I was flabbergasted that the Hyur just. Threw in the towel in no less than after the first punch was thrown. It was discomforting that I felt such. It was weird. I don’t know a vicious chill. And he I swear very clearly aimed for. Ah one of the workers watching! He was a vindictive bastard. And I don’t use those words gently none! He legitimately threw magicked fire at one of the Au Ra, maids. I think she was, nearly was hit full faced, but luckily the other, more a healer was quick on the uptake and she set a barrier up so quick I was just flabbergasted into awe. That Hyur though. He scares me more than Aydrial did. Something is wrong with him. Vincent and those tattoos. Just writing about it makes my skin crawl for some reason. I could faint though, after I found the two of them after the spar to watch and learn healing. ... I half regret but it wasn’t so bad. I learned some tips for healing. #1 Be Aggressive. - I’ll need to work on that. #2 Don’t be afraid of the patient. - That one I’m personally adding but I can’t help feeling like that when the Hyur was all like hey you agreed with me we’re gonna be friends!  There’s a lot of nope right there, but of course I just had to grin and go along with it!   I hope that wasn’t a mistake. Kamui is nice and quiet, was a bit more talkative during combat or I should say right before combat but maybe I only thought that. I should make some notes to take to Enrei.

This is the least tasty waffle I’ve ever had to struggle with. Like Ever.

It’s Not a Date Guys... After adding effects and pumping up the coloration... <3

It is not a date. It was more like a meeting of the minds. Aydrial was late. But that’s fine. It was... you could say fashionably. Very not planned planned if you could think that. It was a great spot picked out since I’ve not explored a good portion of Ul’dah’s Goblet yet. And I am so terrible with names that as our conversation continued felt embarrassed to have forgotten miss Akizuki’s name. Oh but when the lights lit up behind Aydrial’s eyes when I mentioned miss Enrei! He. Likes. her. The Au Ra seems really nice in all actuality not so angry. I can see that it’s just his face. And it’s an earnest kind of face, really, I think. Because I just. I want to help so much more than just chocobos. I wanna be plain indispensable! I wonder if he is a reflective person. Although... If I do that new plan. It’ll be much longer before I will get to the race track. Still. Sometimes our journey does take us on different areas before getting to that dream. The dream will always be there. I’ll get to it eventually!

Man sometimes its hard to get rolling. And be consistent. But I’ll work towards that. I’ve wanted to post a bunch of internal like think posts but it’s been so hard to get INTO character!  I might have made Tseri a difficult character to play. I’m not jiving with her being a Viera, and parts of her personality. Have other folks had this problem? You start of strong, in love with an OC you made and then suddenly you get this... cognitive dissonance with them? (Although the actual full concept of that phrasing seems a tad strong.) Quite frustrating! Vexing almost. Another problem I have is that I get many ideas when I only wanted one. And. I’ve got a sickness. It’s called Alt-itus, or some refer to it as Alt-aholic syndrome. I prefer the ”-itus” because it sounds far more easier to treat as a physical illness. (Speaking from experience irl of course.)  Expect updates soon. 

Let’s see. Oh there was a raffle... which somehow! I actually won! I won a date with the Liberation front’s uhm. Leader! Scary. Scary leader. I don’t know what I’ll wear. Aydrial said he’d be available the following day and I just. Uh, avoided it. The Au Ra is intimidating! And he looked real unhappy about the whole idea. I figured... maybe I won’t? I don’t know. I did want to get to know everyone in the Ilsabard Liberation Front... I mean I at least did meet a few others. Miss Ah. Miss Ahkizuki? and Mister Renvor, he’s a large Hrothgar. I should. Perhaps. Plan a date soon.

I helped a nice Au Ra woman out. She was learning how to write Eorzean. It was all squiggly like Chocobo scratches. I thought it was kind of cute. The morning had gone by so fast and I was hungry. I almost hadn’t expected anyone there at the time. It was kind of nice.  I wonder if she was the owner of the purple feathered Chocobo. Had gotten stabled before I realized and I made sure to keep some gysahl greens in the feeding trough.

Ilsabrad. It was Ilsabrad, I couldn’t right read the pamphlet on account of how dirty it was.  But I ventured out to the Goblet where there was just acres of oasis in this desert I met a rather tall, Au Ra man at the address that was listed on it. I impressed upon him for a job, and just like that I was hired. Though this ‘Liberation Front’ seems to still have a lot of construction going on.  I can’t wait though, Chocobos here I come!

I love saturating color and adding warm tones. 

I just was a fool. And sounded foolish. Too young even I am only twenty two but I was put in my place and there I would stay for the rest. A kindly woman did give me this dingy paper. After I helped to unload and at least make myself useful, of course. I really had to apologize in some fashion, and the paper does give credence to a possibility in Ul’dah. Besides, moving cargo was, at the very least I could muster - I still have strength from when I was lugging around fifty lbs. of manure and hay each a day, and gathering almost that in gysahl greens. But warm clean nests are always needed and sometimes Chocobo are quite the hungry eaters. Anyroad, that’s something at least. I am not sure where Isabard is exactly. Northeast of Black Shroud? Somewhere by La Noscea?

Gridania has been barren for a few days, and I was lucky to have gotten the courier job. In fact I had pretended I was a real adventurer in order to get it since it went all the way to Fallgourd Float and it has gotten mighty dangerous!  I am determined to try and get to my goal. I miss working with Chocobos, but it looks like Moogle Gift Mounts are not looking to hire out, unless you were a true adventurer, doing. Adventuring things. I wasn’t brought up to do anything so brave! I’m too scared, that I might... die doing something and not achieve anything really. I’d rather be a racer some day, riding a bird I bred and raised from egg. The wind in my hair a whistling by... and winning by golly! But it seems that Gridania, in all its seeming plenty, is not.  I wanted to stay in the shaded boughs, or even find a place elsewhere in Black Shroud but I think I have to travel somewhere else. I heard Ul’dah might be the place to be, so I’ll take that two week’s food and spend it on a trip there. There’ll have to be some caravan going out that way.

My last courier job got me enough gil to spare a week or two! And then some. I splurged with this journal, and some new clothes. I think that’s a good thing! I can write my thoughts down when I need to, and the next job I can look presentable!
