JinxedAnubis no longer has ties with the creators of TSBS, namely voice actors and the moderation team (for moderating purposes). She has since retired from her long-standing 2-3 year position as a Discord administrator and wishes to refrain from being involved in the community and its drama. She will remain in her corner of the internet when producing and publishing TSBS.R-related works to bring herself comfort from the stressors of the fan base.

So I was alerted that sun and moon show used my sun dragon avatar and I just wanna state a friendly reminder that not all sun and moon fans are SAMS fans. It’s a public avatar, they credited me in the video, all is good there.
But I do wanna preemptively make it VERY clear that I do not make SAMS content nor will I make the other characters as dragons of SAMS. I am not a SAMS fan, I don’t particularly like the show and I try to separate myself and my stories from it as best I can. I’ve seen a lot of people just assume any sun moon or eclipse content is from the yt series and a lot of artist have to state they aren’t sams related. So SAMS fans please just know I don’t make content for it and respect my content for what it is, just some silly jesters who I’ve given their own story ^^

Almost a year ago I made this post, and while it's cool and all and I've kept up my records of who gave permission, I've realized that it's not really practical to be getting permission 1 by 1, especially if people don't know that they should go on a quest to find a single post from me about it to get in a video.
So, from now on, if you post something with 'TSBS sotw' as a tag, I might grab it for a reaction video. Always credited of course (I try to double check my credits, but if I make a mistake please let me know). If you don't want it possibly in a video, please don't tag it with that tag!! (Or you can and just also tag it 'Ken don't put this in' or something idk.)
So yeah. Today’s episode is heavy. And I’ve been excited for it for a few reasons. Let’s talk about everything!

First off: I was allowed to direct this episode, and that 3 minute segment of Joy inside her mindscape was directed/edited/planned out by me (with the help of 2 BAs - thank you Captain Sunny and Moonzy!). This was the first time I’ve ever directed anything ever + the first time I’ve ever edited something like that. I am insanely grateful for the opportunity and I am very happy with the feedback I’ve been seeing so far. There is a part 2, hopefully we will see it someday soon! I have been working on Joy and Mel’s lore for quite some time now, so I am more than thrilled to start being able to show them off some more.
As for the lore:
I need to make this part ABUNDANTLY clear for people, because it is important to me.
As Joy said: Joy and Mel worked in a hospice.
NOT a hospital.
Hospice is *very* different than hospital. It is something that is widely unknown about/undereducated about in the western world, and it is a topic that I am very qualified to speak about in real life.
Joy and Mel were designed to care for children who are on end-of-life care. Their location was an inpatient hospice facility; the purpose it served was to allow families to have a place for their children to receive specialized care at the ends of their lives. These children may have had incurable illnesses or disabilities that shortened their life expectancy; Joy and Mel were designed to care for children with intense medical and spiritual needs. They also offered respite services to give families/caretakers a break sometimes, but their main jobs were to assist children at the ends of their lives by making them comfortable whilst also creating a fun and nurturing environment.
The dream sequence segment had a *lot* of nuance/hidden meaning/layers to it. Every scene was symbolistic of something. It also showed a parallel that some of you may have picked up: the tune that Mel was humming…we’ve heard that somewhere before.
Mel went to maintenance…and started acting irritable? Something something brain fog…
Joy seems to…want to see the good in people, despite them having done horrible things. She seems to like to hold onto good memories, even at her own expense. Flaws are funny, aren’t they..
Sun meant well. But his bias of his own past experiences seems to be clouding his judgment.
I wonder who is lying. Is anyone lying? Mel said Joy harmed her, Joy said the opposite…but Mel said she wasn’t a murder but that she *almost* was, Joy recounted being nearly killed…
And…something about Joy wanting to rip her own chip out? Something about being overworked and unable to grieve…rock bottom…something…

This episode was really important to me, not just for the backstory of one of my characters (tho that aspect was exciting)
But for the representation that I can bring to the table. Jade is a trans man, like myself, and I think having this factor defined is extremely important;
Because we exist, and we deserve to be seen. For the past few years bills upon bills have been cutting off our rights, gender affirming care being revoked, the bans of books and flags in classrooms and schools, and even more stuff that is trying to pass.
Hopefully, this can bring a little more awareness to the table

And there will be people out there to support you, no matter what

THE EARTH SHIPS COLLECTION.
From my last two streams where I took suggestions on Earth ships.
We have a lot of them and some of them have thoughts and scenerios that are more explained in the streams.
I just... I wanted to draw Earth. Thats all. I even got 2.0 Earth in there and EC. Thats 25 ships, and there was still more I didnt get to.
I do wanna finish a couple of these ones properly so you'll see a couple of these again colored.
Get punked! the Tyrant 'leak' from stream on 5/17 was faked and planned out a month in advance; we were trying to mimic Alex Hirsch's leak to give folks something to talk about. Thanks to a couple folks on socials who were directly asked to help spread it!
We might've let things go longer until Davis was back to help reveal the ruse, but folks were just too dedicated to being respectful of the VAs and NOT spreading the 'info' and screenshots, so it seemed to have run its course instead of sparking theorizing/conversation like we thought. So like, thank you! That's so sweet, if the leak was real we'd really appreciate that response! But in this specific case, god dammit! </3
The episode where Earth gets to talk to Lady is one of the cutest little things ever. The family ever ,,, :,) And Harvest is also there.
I personally think Harvest is the kind of guy who says "I hate cats don't get a cat" and then after a single day of the cat being in the house they both become inseparable. The idea is really funny to me.
I like to see LAES Earth as having a pink/salmon accent colour while Terra has a purple accent colour to distinguish them :) The collar I draw on Harvest is very much inspired by Kouwelm's Harvest! ^^

Hey TSBS Tumblr, only been recently made aware that "ruski" is a derogatory term for Russian people. Nobody on the team knew that until recently, but now that they do, you will notice in upcoming videos that the Moon with the Russian accent is called "Rusty" instead! Just wanted to make sure Tumblr was aware of that info and could adjust as well!
