Hello, I am new to this blog and was curious to ask what the lore with with Alana and her taur form?
Anon you’re making me blush, this is my first OC ask that I’ve received and you have the honor of being the first to ask! (As far as I know!)
So Alana is actually a human, specifically a Clan Ghost Bear Elemental, of Clan Ghost Bear of The Rasalhague Dominion. She would hail from the universe of BattleTech, also known to some as MechWarrior. It started as a TTRPG and also has an expansive line of books, a good collection of video games, and tons of lore to pour over.
Her attire here is a collaboration between the merchant class of Clan Ghost Bear and textile industry of Rasalhague, resulting in “Siege Breaker” gear, an active wear-fatigue clothing line for Clan warriors. It’s really versatile! Drop the jacket and pants and you’ve got a swimsuit, drop the jacket and keep the pants and swimsuit and you’ve got sparing clothes, and keeping all the gear on is great casual active wear!
The streak of blue in her hair is in honor of her fallen sibkin, and the bracelet on her right hand is her Codex bracelet, a form of dog tag in the future that the clans use. It contains her personal records, battle records, and bloodline history.

And her taur-furry (I use the hyphen “-“ because she can be either bipedal or taur body) form is actually kinda a parallel form of hers, she doesn’t transform in to one or anything, it’s just that it was easier for me to adapt an already established OC of mine for me to be able to adapt her to a furry form.

Her taur form was just that I’ve always wanted a sort of taur OC, always found taurs really appealing. Plus I haven’t gotten one yet, but I also like multi taurs as well.
