I have decided that he has to concentrate and activate the bite like snake venom because a) that’s funnier that he still considers himself a useless mutant in the fighting evil category and B) otherwise he’d be put down by Wolverine like that one kid who could burn people alive just by being near them.

I'm super excited to officially announce the "Suns of Suhad" Romance Anthology ArtBook, coming this October! This artbook is a collection of all the "Suns of Suhad" art and comics I've posted thus far (ie. all the Hamzah/Yara and Nuhro/K goodies), and will include some book exclusive art and comics that I won't be posting online - it's just a little thank you for supporting the book! I'll be selling this puppy at Lightbox so if you're around and want one, please stop by! I am hoping to open a limited online run, as I know some people are not local, but it will take some time depending on how Lightbox stock sells and setting up an online shop etc. (since I don't normally do online sales LOL) but I'll keep y'all posted on that! Also stoked to be partnering with Nonstop printing to make this book as beautiful and high quality as possible.

Drew this for a Ghibli zine last year and am finally posting! Always wanted to draw a large piece for Nausicaa :)

The only other "girl" toy I was ever able to get was actually a Cabbage Patch Kid Doll... after over a YEAR of asking for one. That's a story for another strip, though. There's always something difficult about telling childhood stories that require drawing pre-transition me, but this was a story that really required it, I feel. Telling this story and glossing over this part would have been a disservice to WHY finding this toy now was so important to me.
