3.5 million pages later… there’s still only one trans person in the Epstein files: trans teen survivor Ava Cordero. The documents show that she settled out of court for $28k. I previously verified this with someone who knows her. All Ava's accusations were true.
Notably, Epstein's lawyer claimed he wasn't gay and thus Ava must have been lying. I often think about how Epstein could have been stopped sooner if society listened to POC, trans people, or girls.

"Genesis Climber Mospeada".
Some of my absolute favorite mecha in anime as a kid. The 3 vehicles in "Genesis Climber Mospeada".
- Ride Armors: A series of motorcycles capable of transforming into power suits
- Legiosses: The primary Armor-Fighters used by the Earth Liberation Forces
- AB-01 TLEAD: Notably the TLEAD stands for Transport Legioss Escort Armored Dreadnought but has also been referred to as TREAD for TRans-EArth Deployment. These machines could transform into an aircraft called an Armo-Bomber.
note - the Ride Armor can be stored in a Legioss behind the cockpict, plus the Legioss can link with the Tread using it as a reinforced booster for the purpose of increasing cruising distance and combat efficiency both inside and outside the influence of gravity

About ten years ago I decided that the next step I needed to take in my life was to accept and explore what it meant to be a failure and to have failed. This infuriated almost everybody in my life and clearly terrified a lot of people. People do not want you to accept failure. They dont want you to like... Sit with and think about it and pick it up and turn it arpund in your hands and really examine it. They want you to keep throwing yourself against the impossible walls until your body explodes! They do not want you to say "alright then, I've failed. What does that mean for me? Im still here. What does the life of someone who has failed look like?"
This makes people very angry and panicky.
My mental health improved in ways it had not in the previous DECADE once I stopped. And. Sat. With failure. And thought about what my failure ... Was. And looked at the structures that produced it and examined them critically.
It is so taboo to fail and admit it openly and talk about it. It is so taboo to talk about or think about failure in an accepting way rather than hiding it shamefully until you experience a degree of success in some area which allows you to present the past failure as "a stepping stone" to your current situation. Fuck that. We are put in positions of guaranteed failure by society every day and then punished and shamed for it. Lets fucking talk about failure
Paper cutout animation test! Featuring my wip Moho rig.
I made a quick animation in Moho and then exported the individual frames and used a cricut to cut them out. Then, I did a "quick stop-motion test" on a makeshift light table because I am apparently insane.
(Adding a few sheets of vellum helped sell the look.)
The Moho animation took about 30 mins...filming the stop-motion shot also only took about 30 mins. (because it was only 2 seconds.)
But the printing, cutting, gluing, and other fabrication.....took days.

Drew this for a Ghibli zine last year and am finally posting! Always wanted to draw a large piece for Nausicaa :)
The only other "girl" toy I was ever able to get was actually a Cabbage Patch Kid Doll... after over a YEAR of asking for one. That's a story for another strip, though. There's always something difficult about telling childhood stories that require drawing pre-transition me, but this was a story that really required it, I feel. Telling this story and glossing over this part would have been a disservice to WHY finding this toy now was so important to me.
I was going to draw a background for this, and then I kinda didn't. It was only now that I realized that the girl kinda looks like Jeanette from the Chipettes. Um. Sorry.
