poetry and stuff

It was human arrogance to assume that aliens would only speak to us in languages that could be heard. How many civilizations have stared in awe at the beautiful northern lights, unaware of their true meaning?

I believed that I wanted to be a poet, but deep down I just wanted to be a poem.

Do you know how it hurts to touch you knowing that in the morning I’ll still wake up alone?

I would break my own heart to keep yours safe .

I thought I liked being alone. I like being with you more.

i think that the best word to describe her would be iridescent  look at her from different angles and you’ll see a different side of her, represented by different colours like… yellow. not because she’s chinese but because she’s bright. she shines brighter than all of the stars in the sky and it’s a wonder how the brightest in isn’t named after her. she is the greatest joy that i have ever known and just knowing her is a privilege. i hope that it’ll be the same for you. she is also blue. sometimes she can get so upset she won’t talk for days and you’ll get so frustrated but please don’t give up on her. she’s worth it, i swear. i wish i could’ve given her everything that she needed but wishing is pointless now. she’s moved on and i should too. sage is what she’ll be when she sees happy families. enviousness will take over her. everybody that she loved has left her in one way or another but i hope that you’ll be the one to stay. crimson takes over when everything goes to shit. you’ll see a part of her you’ve never seen before. it will be a totally new experience . she’ll need you to calm her down, to guide her. please be the one who turns her white. pure, innocent, acting her age instead of 10 years older because she can only depend on herself. i’ve never seen her black. devoid of all emotions, empty, just drifting through the wind with no purpose in life like a plastic bag. i hope that you’ll never get too see it too.

Day 28 of 365

The funny thing is, I know you’ll never return my feelings. It doesn’t matter what I do, I’ll never get what I want. It’s funny because even though I know that, I keep trying to get closer to you. I keep trying to get something more.

Sometimes love doesn’t come in the form of stardust and moonlight, with beautiful fireworks and gentle breezes. Sometimes love comes as earthquakes and volcano eruptions, tsunami’s and tornado’s in your life.

He smiled. Completely. His smile was big. Full of teeth. It covered half of his face and broke the mask he wore to hide his pain and loneliness. And even with all scars exposed, he lighted up the world.

Sweet poison. 
You’re the poison I keep drinking, 
Destroying my every cell slowly, 
Painfully but the taste of you, your lips is so sweet I can’t stop drinking this poison, 
You’re making me drunk but I’m still drinking, I know I will end up with a very bad hangover by the end of this relationship
