#hm #im not close with either of them #my older brother and i didnt get along for a loooong time #I'll still never be close with him but we're friendly now and get each other gifts for bdays and stuff #and he helped us move twice #my younger sibling and i fought a lot when they were younger #we got close for a while #but once i moved out we stopped talking as much #but we're pretty similar in personality so its easier to relate to each other #we speak in memes sometimes and our mom is like wtf language are you speaking #same when we talk about music bc we were the only band kids in the family #we're not close anymore but we're comfy and text occasionally #my bro is 2 years older and my sib is 6 years younger for context #also i was the first person in the family my sibling came out to twice :')

I am not that old, and I didn't have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.
