So fly and I have a curse of being brutally wounded during any stage performance we do. It always goes wrong somewhere

To utilize the word:

My most infamous stunt was when it was techweek and we had a prop tree that was made last minute, and it fell and I superman’ed my way underneath it to catch it and it went “BONK” On my head and thats the last thing i remember before I woke up backstage,

Fly’s most infamous stunt was when they were rehearsing backstage with a random dude who was nervously flailing his arms around. He accidentally hit a plank that knocked over a metal pipe that went BONK right onto fly’s eye.

Whats worse for fly is that they were fully conscious as (TW) Blood streamed down their face, in a fit of shock (we both do this 😭) They started LAUGHING?? WHICH TERRIFIED ALL OF THE 1ST GRADERS HELPING OUT BC HERE COMES FLY, BLOODY FACED AND LAUGHING RUNNING ACROSS STAGE LIKE MACBETH ON A MOPED.

Another time during a production of newsies, we had these huge rolling towers that would move on stage as we danced. I was waiting for my cute while backstage and i overheard stagecrew talking abt something being off on the towers. I then asked “Are they safe to go on” and they said “yeah yeah it’ll be fine” Well the music came on we ran out onto the towers, and this us gonna sound so y/n but, my anxiety kicked in and i was like “This doesn’t feel right no i’m getting off” and i step off. IMMEDIATELY I FEEL 100 HANDS ON MY BACK AND I LOOK OVER AND THE ENTIRE TOWER IS TILTING AND I STAND THERE INFRONT OF AN ENTIRE AUDIENCE AS THE SINGLE LOAD-BEARING HUMAN KEEPING EVERYONE UP THERE.

To do a lightning round:

- I was winded one time as a metal staircase was lodged into my gut on accident

- Fly had a blister pustule growing on their finger for an entire show and no one knew what to do

- one show my scene partner SHATTERED their ankle onstage (real gruesome) so i had to take over

- A nail that was sticking out dull-side up pushed my kneecap out of place during a stunt

- I paralyzed my hands onstage twice
