“Either way, I can kick your ass.”

“And I wasn’t challenging you to, thanks.”

“Then you can take two if you’d like.”

“Here! Have a chocolate. Sweets are the best way to start off a new year!”

“Are they? Well, I’m never one to turn down free food.”

“Happy New Year, bitches!” Ginny cried out to no one in particular, taking the shot of tequila that was placed in front of her.

“I’m not one of said bitches, I should hope.”

“I’m not drunk, you’re drunk. Look, look, I bet I can hit that dartboard with a knife.”

"A knife, a dart, same difference.”

“How much good karma do you think I can rack up by giving free kisses to lonely people tonight?”

“Sounds like a good karma building exercise to me.”

“It’s not guilt pizza, it’s just pizza. And good. We should be scary. Might give us an edge.”

“I’m mostly harmless.”

“Okay, two wheels.” Still, Silver felt a jolt of guilt that she could have possibly forgotten about that. Letting out a deep sigh, she patted her jacket for her wallet. “…I’ll buy the pizza now.”

“Nah, dude, don’t. I don’t want guilt pizza. It’s just last time I ordered in the deliver guy looked kind of scared shitless. Like we’re scary or somethin’.”

Silver raised an eyebrow. “You’ve got two legs and a heartbeat.”

“Kind of.”

“Yeah, you wanna give me a hand?”

The ball bounced back to his hand, leaving another mark on the white wall before him. He didn’t bother for the noise, or anything else, until the ball didn’t made the right way back. 

"Calm down, it’s just a ball.”

“A Batman theme birthday party is alright for a one year old, right? I mean, he’s not old enough to know what’s going on anyway, plus it’ll seem really cool to him once he’s fifteen…”

“Sounds fine. Plus, I get an excuse to try and build a model batmobile.”

“Is anybody here or is my car expected to fix itself up?”
