The current narrative around Sims 3 really makes me laugh because I am old and played it avidly for years, and that game got SO much vitriol when it was the current series. People said it was hopelessly shallow, graphically hideous, and the sims were soulless copies of each other endlessly milling around broken, empty towns with nothing to do. You could not post “I think TS3 is a good game actually” on EA’s own forum for people to post about Sims 3 without someone with a Sims 2 avatar popping up and telling you this was because you were less intelligent than them.

Mesh ToolKit's Seam Fixer was never properly finished and didn't work for toddlers, elders or female teens. I have added the missing data, making it work for all age/gender combinations.

Did you know you can make sims look in a specific direction whilst they're posed?

Hit shift+tab to enter first person mode

Aim the camera where you want your sim to look (make sure your game isn't paused otherwise the sim won't move - you can press 1 in first person mode to set time running)

Hit pause (by pressing P)

Hit shift+tab again to exit first person mode

Voila! Your sim is now looking in the direction you pointed 'em!

A neat little cheat to get multiple uses from the same pose! 🤸‍♀️

[TS3] "Sleeping Stars”: Two Dresses for AF Sims

I swear I haven’t left yet. I started one of those “I will NOT make an involved story out of this” saves and this is how it ended...

Love you guys.

“Sleeping Stars” is an ornate sleeveless dress with a ruffled bit around the waist, coming in two lengths: as short as it comes and floor-length. Actually a reject from last year so I’m really glad to finally get it out.

Okay it is a bit of a hack job of a dress. Only YA/Adult because I made it for a character that doesn’t age. The ruffle doesn’t look great on the fat morph (even on the original EA part), and long skirts don’t animate well. There is a glitchy spot that’s mostly hidden on the dress but if you notice it just don’t tell anyone and angle the camera differently.

There’s better stuff in the queue, I swear.
