feeling quite a bit like remy-seeing-colours-popping-those-dawmn-berries-in-his-mouth when i hear certain songs

thinking abt how i can never run out of love to give. thinking abt how my favourite blanket can never run out of warmth to give. thinking abt how i can just eat cereal if i want to and wear my favourite socks if i want to and how i can type my i’s in lowercase if I want to

thinking about how- if there’s one thing I’m built for- it’s love. I’m built for love I have what it takes to love someone I have what it takes to care to hold to kiss to live to breathe to respect to cherish to define and undo everything and anything that’s been done to me and so much more than that. I am a pro athlete at the love-Olympics and I don’t care if it’s a self proclaimed title. I exist because of the love I receive and choose to channel

it is never not a good day to feel too deeply for yourself for others for friends for your dog for your cat for your plant for your family for the sun for everything and anything beyond you

“Slipping through my fingers all the time” but it’s your last day of school and the school band just played this in front of the rest of your grade and you’re all just a bunch of babies- wailing all over again

If I could write a love letter to love, would I rlly be writing to someone else or a deep spiritual part of myself? I would write about warm soup, and the way my mother strokes my hair and the warmth I get from my blanket, and my soft sheets, and the way my hair curls up when it dries, and raindrops and books and beaded jewellery and leafs fallen on the sidewalk and wilted flowers and unspoken goodbyes and promising gestures and anything anywhere or anyone I might’ve channelled my love into

I think it’s always appropriate to ask someone their favourite something. Learn the math behind it. How the two met. What made them fall in love with it. It’s like you’re reliving a scene from a time that is so sacred and personal to them

sometimes I just look at things in the shape of a heart and feel so much better

i love my friends i rlly rlly love my friends i wish i could do so much more for them than i am doing rn i wish there was a way for me to love them far more than i am loving rn but i try and i try and they get it and they try just the same and they’re beautiful. go kiss your friends

The fact that people can learn to love no matter how many times their hearts have been broken is so very brave and absolutely beautiful to me. It’s like- hey I loved you and something happened and we’re not what we were and maybe that hurt a lot but I will always give someone the benefit of doubt that they have not been set on this planet to cause me pain. And I will love them just the same if not more!
