Not to mention, the concept of his former self fully dying alongside his parents is actually sickening.

Firstly in the sense that Darry has been a brother way longer to his siblings then he ever was a sister, his parents were the only people who really remembered that time before he was Darry.

AND in the sense that now he has to take on responsibility and be head of the house meaning he no longer gets time to reflect on who he was.

I’m gender fluid and I totally relate with that moment when you’re getting dressed for work and body dysmorphia’s genuinely trying to get you. But you have to get to work and you really don’t have time to address that shit, so you just have to go “well I hope this doesn’t ruin my day”.

But just imagine Sonar and Robert having a child and the baby comes out looking like MoistCr1TiKaL and everyone is just extremely confused. Like a very human child with a full head of black hair.

The child is 100% Sonars, Robert by no means cheated, but there’s definitely that very brief moment of doubt and confusion. Despite it getting sorted out very quickly, Sonar cant help but feel very guilty for even doubting Robert in the first place.

But everything’s all good, nothing nefarious happened. Actually no, everything’s not “good” it’s great, he has a child. On top of this clearly being the best decision he’s ever made, now this child is going to give him an answer to one of the biggest questions he’s had his whole life.

What could he have looked like if he was human? Because there it is, that’s his mini-me. Right in front of him, laying in his arms, it’s him but human.

I love the idea of the parents questioning things and, despite the thought briefly popping up in the back of his mind, him still blindly defending Robert on a dying hill for literal hours until everything all checks out.

Like he’s not even considering the possibility, and Robert ends up being the one making the request for the paternity test. He knows it’s not a possibility so he sees no problem in taking any doubt off the table to placate parents.

This becomes particularly funny to me when you consider two things. #1 that Cupid probably isn’t home a lot cause she’s constantly going back and forth between schools like she’s in a split custody agreement. #2 and this is the part that really tickles me, but this is actually really in line with Blondies story, because you know who else wasn’t around a lot? The Bears.

IK it totally doesn’t make sense with her canon backstory but it’s just a funny what if.

Currently Watching: I’ve been watching/ rewatching a lot recently (follow my Letterboxd @Trinket.PNG 😛). For shows I’m currently up to date for Abbot elementary as new episodes come out and I’ve been slowly re watching MLP gen 4 and Dance moms. As for movies I’ve been getting through tones of fashion movies like the devil wears Prada and the intern, as for rewatching rn I’m halfway through the weird live action detective Pikachu (it’s not as bad as everyone said/ I remembered) and I just rewatched Mitchell’s vs the machines. Honestly, I’ve gotten really into movies lately, catch me if you can is the next one I want to watch, but please please please if anyone has any recommendations let me know.

Currently Reading: honestly I don’t read as much as I should, but I’m actually going through a lot of fashion books and comics right now, I’m currently reading the amazing Gwen Poole and just random dc comics. I’m almost constantly rereading the outsiders. And I’m reading through a book called when women ran fifth avenue about how women started running the textile industry in New York. I’ve also just been reading through tons of fashion magazines, and fashion collections.

Current Obsession: recently, my Pokémon obsession has once again I’m surprisingly came back full force (thanks so much legends Z-A/Pokopia for that). I’ve also been really into dispatch, DC (not so much marvel right now, but it’s only so long before that and the outsiders comes back). and strangely enough dvds and claw clips (yes like for your hair) and I have no explanation for these ones. I’ve just been obsessed recently.
