gosh that's fantastic!!! truly truly truly i love to hear it. it's great to hear that it's. well. doing its job, i suppose. i originally wrote it as a means of expressing the experience that could be understood by a non-aro audience but forever i kind of throw aromanticism thoughts out into the void with alloros and don't expect to receive anything back... in a really beautiful world i hope that this has opened up dialogues and pathways of understanding between you and your father. i know it can be hard having family or close relationships that don't get what's going on with you. if we can all keep sharing art among ourselves, though, i think we'll get our beautiful picture clear enough to be understood by others. i trust in us :)

i'm very late in responding to this (it is no longer trickstersaintpril. for one) but i want you to know that i saw this message right away and i've been keeping it in my inbox like a lovely flower. this means so so much to me. i'm so glad i've been able to touch your life in this way: i love to share poetry with people, and i'm so happy that it was an inspiration for you to get into poetry on your own!! fumbling and searching is an important part of the process of all poetry. the foundational aspect of it, even, i think. i know i'm fumbling and searching every time.
