The next few months for us are going to be very busy

We are now in full swing, we have started our second FMP and we are also trying to create our business.

So this is our to do list until we break up from university:

start our instagram account

create a Facebook/ twitter account

keep producing and selling for our folio shop (now on a website, will give you the link when its up and running)

So a little catch up is needed

We created our business for our project at university and we found it went quite successful. We decided to create a business based on vintage jewellery making mainly earrings and necklaces. At this time we were also raising fundraising money for our final fashion show, so we decided to sell our jewellery at various places, this including some events we organised and some vintage stalls. 

The aim of our project was to create a business and present our plan in front of our tutor and the manager of our college shop to see if she was interested in putting our work in the shop. She loved our idea and was very excited to get involved. Since then we have made multiple sales in the Hartlepool CCAD Folio Store. As well as that she took our work to the metro centre and put them on a stand in Topshop, which was very exciting!

When we decided to carry on and expand our business idea, the main thing we needed was a name.

It had to be something related to our business, which was vintage style jewellery. We came up with a variety of names including... 

Antique Boutique

Little Box of Trinkets

Antique Treasures

Little Magpie

Pearl and Treasures etc

So, me and fellow magpie started a jewellery business through a enterprise scheme at university. 

It started off very small with us just making a few rings, it has now expanded to a variety of rings, necklaces and earrings.

We have had a lot of support and a lot of interest from people. Our jewellery has been sold at a variety of events, and even in Topshop.
