You get to wear some of his sweaters especially when it’s cold and he’s fussing about you possibly getting sick.

He plays pretend with you sometimes for hours, being very serious about your stuffed animals and toys.

He sets up a mini bed right next to his so you can set least try to sleep on your own. The first few nights of living with him in your own room you cried so much he couldn’t put you down. He fell asleep holding you on the couch.

He still struggles with touch but the second he realizes you need the comfort he offers it.

He writes notes and leaves them everywhere for you.

He reads you bedtime stories and tries to stay up until he knows you’re asleep but always fails.
