I decided to give Evil Dead (2013) another go. I first watched it several years ago when I was just getting into horror, and back then it felt a little too much for me.
But watching it now when I'm dead inside lol I enjoyed it a lot more than back then. It's definitely the most dark one out of the franchise. I can see why so many people enjoyed this one, it gave the characters a lot more depth and backstory (as opposed to the other movies where not a whole lot is revealed about their backgrounds).
Evil Dead Rise was marketed as being the most gorey one out of the franchise but I disagree- I actually felt the 2013 one was insane. The amount of limbs being sawed off was crazy dude (but I enjoyed watching it which shows I have issues lol)
