A Girl On A Mission

I’ve been on tumblr 10 years with this blog. Meaning that I’ve wanted to lose weight for 10 years. 10 years ago I was 15, and here I am at 25 still not at a weight I want to be. Still looking in the mirror, disliking my cellulite, curves, and thick thighs. Feeling gross when I look in the mirror. I have gotten near my goal weight throughout this journey, but never achieved it. What will it feel like when I reach that goal… or will I never reach it and keep letting time pass without any progress. Who do I want to look at in the mirror a year from now? My puffy face and growing waist, or someone who has energy and enjoys being present in the moment. Someone who can smile at herself and feel proud for her accomplishments. Someone who can be called beautiful and believe it. I am beautiful, just watch me believe it.
