is it normal to feel uncomfortable by people being sexually attracted to you? recently my girlfriend has been making really sexual comments about me and it's been making me feel ill.
I, myself, am asexual because of sexual trauma. It is not strange to not want people to make sexual remarks about you at all. I don't know whether you two are intimate in that way, but, the best thing you can do is ask her to stop.

Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this,, but I need someone else's perspective and I have literally no one to go to. I've been emotionally, physically, and sexually abused by my parents for all my life and an ex close friend of mine for almost 3 years. One of my biggest triggers is when someone tries to vent to me and my trigger response is almost always aggressive or to shut down. This is really problematic for my long term relationship with my girlfriend. I try so hard to repress it and be there for her when she needs me and let her vent but it feels like I cant control it. She gets really upset at me and says I'm tearing the relationship apart, I cant lose her but I seemingly cant stop being triggered by her venting. Am I a bad person for not being able to get over my triggers? Even with therapy i cant seem to be there for people emotionally.

This is part of what I'm here for, is it not? I understand. The best thing you can do is keep working in therapy to get past it, and until then, let your girlfriend know that it is a trigger. PTSD gives us triggers for things and we can't control what those triggers end up being.
Until you can move past this, maybe you can find a new way of communicating together that allows her to vent without triggering you. One of my friends (not in a relationship, she just does this because she is uncomfortable venting very much) writes out everything she needs to vent about on a piece of paper and then we take it outside and set it on fire. There are always other options and it is possible to live a full healthy life with PTSD, even if it takes a little bit of wandering to find what works for you best.
tw??? when i was younger a boy showed me a porn magazine and touched me and i have no idea if this counts as trauma. i feel like as a result of this incident i became a really sexual person and i don’t know if i should get help or not. i can’t tell if anything i am is real enough, bad enough for me to get help. i just need some insight, something anything that’ll help me figure out if i’m okay or if i truly need help.
That was rape. It seems like you're dealing with hypersexuality as a result. I am horribly sorry this happened to you.
I was sexually assaulted by someone whom i had considered a friend almost 4 years ago. i'll never forget that it happened on my school campus and that there was a staff member standing right in front of me. his reasoning was "it was a joke. learn to take a joke". i still have nightmares about it. i sometimes wonder what would've happened if my mom hadn't pulled around to pick me up at the right time. i know i didn't deserve it. i still feel gross.
It wasn't a joke. If that's the excuse the person is using it's almost, ironically, laughable that they think that would fix it. I am terribly sorry it happened to you, but please know that the actions of others do not make you gross. Be gentle with yourself, love your body for being your place. It feels bad now, but you can and will feel better eventually

TW?? Last year in my english class we used to talk about SA and all that stuff. I would either space out or leave to get a drink because I wanted to throw up. I have the same English teacher this year and we still end up talking about that stuff as a class. Today we were talking about this bloke and his ‘vanilla r*pe’ and what they were saying about it made me want to throw up. They weren’t saying anything wrong, they called him disgusting and everything! Pt 1🧬

If it's triggering to you (and I understand, I cannot tolerate that topic under most any circumstance either, it's really horrible) then the best thing you can do is to say it makes you uncomfortable.
Tell the teacher when you have a moment alone and tell them that for mental health issues you cannot continue the work/assignment.
If they tell you that you have to sit in on it anyways, I would say that it constitutes for legal action.
I'm not entirely sure if I've been helpful. If all else fails, I usually outright refuse to listen to or watch anything with the topic, even when I am at risk of being rude. It works well for me.

You likely have more than just minor ptsd, in my opinion. I can tell just from reading this that you suffered really horrible abuse and neglect. That's something that's hard to live with and grow from. I know it feels normal to you now, but do try to get into a better situation. You'll start to realize bad it really was and then you'll have a hard time living with those memories. But you have to learn to grow from them.
As far as the issue of not being comfortable with touching, I'm the same way [for different reasons]. Find someone you trust completely. Start out small, like holding hands or something. You probably won't like being touched still by just anyone, but you'll have people who you trust.
And no, you do not have to love your mother or your father. If they abused and neglected you to this point of trauma, you're allowed to hate them. You're allowed to hate them so much you leave and never see them again.
I am truly sorry that all if this happened to you. I wish the world was a better place with better people in it. I wish children all grew up safe and loved.
