I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.

Fandom is not trends.

AI industry groups are urging an appeals court to block what they say is the largest copyright class action ever certified. They’ve warned that a single lawsuit raised by three authors over Anthropic’s AI training now threatens to “financially ruin” the entire AI industry if up to 7 million claimants end up joining the litigation and forcing a settlement.

Authors have until March 30th, 2026 (That is just 9 days as of this reblog, which I am posting on March 21st, 2026) to file their claim against Anthropic to be reimbursed up to $3,000 per work found in the list.

I used to work in childcare and I actually HATED filling out incident reports but!! I am THRILLED AND DELIGHTED to see that the Kingdom Campus Security team has an incident report template! We love to see a school with good safety and reporting policies!

lmao of course Audrey was the quickest with a cell phone. But also, you don’t have security guards who were on duty at the coronation writing this report firsthand?? Are there multiple copies of this report floating around from different perspectives? I hope the guards who were around also got to write reports, I love reading official documents written by teenagers.

“accidental” discharge of Fairy Godmother’s wand while in the possession of Jane. Okay. Sure. Totally looked like an accident and not, y’know, Jane being reckless and intentionally trying to do a different spell. But sure. She’s Fairy Godmother’s daughter. Let’s not pin any blame on her.

(I don’t think that Jane really deserves the blame for this, but the framing of the spell as a totally accidental mistake is funny)

Sure, Maleficent is evil. Termination of civil freedoms, dictatorship, and of course, candy privileges REVOKED. It’s always so funny to me when the books mix things like this. The CIVIL FREEDOMS and the CANDY PRIVILEGES are on the same level, naturally.

The other funny thing to me is that they have a whole different report (with a different number code) to document the whole turning into a dragon thing. Is this a report type for magical incidents? Property destruction incidents? Incidents involving adults outside the school? The world may never know.
