I'm a shitty poem

Maybe you’re losing it. Or maybe you are finally realizing how lost you’ve always been.

Tonight, when the Moon delivers my thought to you, I hope you will come to know how much I still care, and how I never really let you go all this while.

My soul will find yours.

You can hate a place with all your heart and soul and still be homesick for it.

And in the end, we were all just humans drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.

I believe there’s progress when you set a calm intention to be stronger and better for the rest of the day and feel at ease with the thought that you did your best no matter what storms & difficulties come your way. I believe there’s progress when you try not to compare yourself to others and see yourself through the eyes of the universe reminding you it’s okay to feel jealous sometimes but that doesn’t mean your path makes you any less special. I believe there’s progress when you take good care of your body by choosing not to harm it and appreciate it as something like your home as you little by little make it into your hope of beautiful and see the light it radiates each time you say I love you. I hope that in every level of your life you remember that there’s progress to be found in the little things and no matter where this road of human existence takes you keep it in your heart that you are enough today, tomorrow, and forever.
