The hardest thing to do is to accept how people express their experiences.
It is almost impossible to agree on meanings of terms, itâs hard to understand sometimes when the other person has a completely different vocabulary.
BUT if we fundamentally agree and we are on the same side then I hope that we can come together and help each other.
I personally think that tma/e is a useful tool, I believe and fight against transmisogyny and transandrophobia. I centre women struggles and because of my real life experience I donât reject statements like âkill all menâ, âfuck the patriarchyâ, âeat the richâ.
For those who disagree, I hope you still understand that even if we donât agree on labels and terms and definitions you know that you are safe, maybe uncomfortable but safe.
On my end I will try and learn this same lesson. I want to sensitise people to using the terminology that has been used in my irl communities but I must understand that I canât change peoples minds.
If there are questions I will reply ig.
