Iv'e noticed that black trans men / transmasc are treated like absolute shit, and I think a big part of that is because of how racism intersects with transandrophobia.

How the pericispatriarchy sees black trans men / transmascs is simple: You can't be masculine because that would make you an aggressive black man. You can't be feminine because that would either affirm that you're actually a girl or you're told that black men can't be feminine. You can't be angry because that shows, again, an aggressive black man. You can't be happy because men aren't supposed to be happy. You can't indulge in black masc culture because black masc culture is scary and performative, but you also can't indulge in black fem culture because what are you? A woman? I thought you didn't want to be that?

It's either that you're an aggressive black man or you're a "faker." Obviously it's MUCH more complex than that, but it's such a common double sided thing that just comes with being a black trans man / masc.
