"What's my deal?"
First off, block, don't report. Please. I know you think you're helping, but I'm trying to stay in my safe little corner. I don't encourage anyone to pick up my tendencies, I really, truly do not. I just want to have my journey out there. Sort of like a journal with "meal" ideas for my remarkably picky food taste mixed in. It will make me feel better, and in a weird, roundabout way, maybe make me healthier. I'm not one of those people trying to be 90 lbs soaking wet. I want to be the type of guy I find attractive, and not have lethally high blood glucose and cholesterol.
A bit about me. 5'5, 185 lbs, and wonderfully, a fucking Type 2 diabetic. Food has ruined my goddamn life, but I can't keep myself away from it. People keep telling me to "just exercise" and "watch the carbs," but I've come to believe I am fundamentally incapable. "It's not about the numbers on the scale," they say, but it is, it is. It's the numbers, it's the double chin, it's the gut.
My relationship with food is already unhealthy, might as well try to make it unhealthy in the way that makes both the numbers on the scale and the numbers in the bloodwork go down instead of up.
What'll I have here? Dunno. Probably a lot of mealspo. Maybe reblog some stuff. Hopefully be brave enough to write down the things I've eaten. I'm here and I have a funky aesthetic. Stay if you want, but if you're a kid (under sixteen), please don't. Also don't stay if you're not already in an "unrecoverable" mental place. I don't want to contribute to more people having to be like me.
