It’s not a fanfic or anything—just a thought, I guess.

We know that Billy’s adult alter ego, Captain Marvel, attracts countless women—and men, too—leaving our poor Captain going from very shy to downright apprehensive when dealing with civilians, terrified of unwanted, intrusive kisses, hugs, and touches.

I can only imagine how important personal space must be to Billy. It’s hard to picture anyone touching him without his consent, or at least without fully understanding just how vital that boundary is to him.

But what really sticks with me is this: given how anxious and full of doubt he already is about dating, how crushing must it be for Billy to wonder whether his future girlfriend might prefer his adult version over the real him?

Maybe that explains, at least in part, why he’s so determined to keep his identity secret—the fear that he might not be enough, or as interesting or attractive, as his counterpart.

I can picture Billy losing a lot of sleep over the Stargirl situation, questioning whether Courtney liked him because of Captain Marvel or simply because they’re close in age.

He might even have gone to Olympus just to ask Zeus if some spell had been cast on him to draw both women and men, or whether the blessing itself carried that side effect. Even if Solomon disagreed on a few points, he wouldn’t argue with the idea that Billy needs a woman—after all, “she builds the home”—so having more than one could only help keep him from feeling lonely again.

Hercules, for his part, would probably warn him to watch out for Hera. She made him kill his own wives, and he doesn’t want Billy ending up doing the same to his girls.

At a rare (evening) Wayne family dinner, where practically all members are present and relatively calm.

Sounds of running footsteps are heard, and the door to the lunch room opens.

A boy who appears to be about 13 years old, typical Wayne adoption pattern, black hair and blue eyes.

Billy: Bruce!?, are you okay? Did something happen!?.

Bruce: Billy? I ask you... why are you here?

Dick: Do we have someone new in the family?... I didn't know that.

The Batfamily members look between the rookie and Bruce, with expressions of confusion and surprise.

Billy: Bruce, your communicator is sending me a distress alert... HALF AN HOUR AGO!!. Do you have any idea how desperate I was when I saw this!?

Says Thomas responding to Dick:.

Thomas: I don't know... But if we have another lightning-fast addition to the family, maybe Alfred will punish Bruce for not giving us warning.

Bruce puts his hand in his pocket seeing the communicator. And the boys and girls look at each other in silent communication trying to figure out if anyone knows the supposed new member.

Bruce: Of course it's damaged from the last mission, I'm sorry for the scare but... you don't seem to have announced your arrival as dramatically as usual. Did something happen?

Billy: It's me, I've been here in Gotham for a while... Taking a look at the Falcones

All: The Falcones!?

Damien: What were you investigating about the Falcones?, and who are you!?

Billy: Yes, the Falcones. Billy walks over to Bruce around the long table, and takes a folder out of his bag and hands it to Bruce. I don't know why yet, but they are reaffirming their good relationship with the mafia families outside of Gotham. The Batfamily members are on alert, Tim even pulled out his laptop to check the Falcons' activities with Barbara. I've heard that there was a fraternization between the Fawcett and Gotham mobsters, I thought I'd get some clues before telling you but... the distress alert made me abandon the espionage.

Damien: He ignored me!?

Jason: Are you going to cry, brat?

Damien: Don't even try Todd, I'm wondering what we're going to do about Dad's out-of-control tendencies about adoption.

As Bruce reads the folder, Alfred arrives carrying a tray.

Alfred: Master Billy, it's good to see you again. You're here on business I presume. Billy, giving one of his megawatt smiles, gives the old butler a quick hug. When you come back, I hope you stay because as a reward for the others, I will make cookies and I hope you will be here with us tonight. Says Alfred, as he leaves with a small smile on his face.

Billy: Sure Mr. Alfred, I'd love to spend some time with you if possible. Turning his gaze to Bruce with a serious expression. So, do you esse want to do something now or not?

Thomas: Well, shit, Alfred not only knows the kid but he's not going to ground Bruce either.

Bruce: I think the best course of action is to be taken immediately, we don't know what they're up to so we need to act quickly.

Billy, puffing out his chest, looks at Bruce with a smile on his face:. Okay, I'll go as Batman!.

Bruce raising an eyebrow:. No

Billy ignoring Bruce's denial: No discussion Robin, to the Batcave!

After Bruce and Billy leave the room, the boys and girls look at each other trying to understand what just happened.

Dick: We should make Bruce wear a Robin costume.

Jason: What a horrible sight... but I'd pay to see him in those scaly green dickhead swim trunks.

Tim: By the way, I didn't find any record of the new member being adopted... could it be a biological child?

Damien: a biological brother?... and apparently aiming for Batman's position as well... A worthy opponent, our battle will be more than legendary!

Cassandra: Cute.

I don't know if it was good... But that's it. I had this idea a while ago but didn't expand on it, so I hope it was interesting to read.

And I hope it's not that confusing, sorry if anything.

2ps: I corrected the sentence: "Tim takes off your lepto". Translated into my native language it became: "Tim takes off your leptospirosis".

I personally like to think that Martian Manhunter would know about Billy's identity because he let him know about it. Billy must have let them talk telepathically to make Jonn feel more comfortable, telling him that he keeps his identity a secret.

I imagine that they would discover the world together, seeing good friends, Jonn could be the partner of secret missions with the Captain helping him with disguises, while the Captain can help him feel more comfortable simply by walking down the street and talking to others like he normally does in Fawcett.

We have several other possibilities about which characters Billy could pair up with.

Flash is always a good pairing with Billy, the two being a chaotic duo most of the time, but I like to see the two of them keeping watch over their villains in their shifts, Flash and the captain somehow have a good relationship with their villains and I imagine they possibly celebrate when one of them manages to get out of the life of crime.

But on a mission they would be the reconnaissance duo, fast enough to complete the mission and still be late for monitor duty.

Hawkwoman, I think Billy would have to be the voice of reason in the duo, Shiera being the short-tempered warrior would be the bad cop, leaving the Captain to be the good cop in the interrogations. If you weren't on missions, you could find Shiera teaching Billy ancient Arabic along with Taia.

Aquaman... I think they would be the diplomatic duo. Arthur being the king of Atlantis and Captain having the wisdom of Solomon, they would be an excellent duo in that regard.

And after that they would go to some bar, Arthur drinking beer and Billy drinking some juice... talking about their responsibilities.

I can imagine how surprised Arthur was to see Captain Marvel talking to fish in an aquarium.

Wonder Woman is also a great choice to be Billy's partner, the two don't always get to have moments together but it would be interesting, imagine the two of them going to translate an ancient language and stopping abruptly just to give the other space to speak, in the end they laugh about it together. After that they would have ice cream as a reward for winning the mission.

The two would probably be closer than they imagine, having Greek origins it shouldn't be difficult to see the two together.

mainly having to deal with Zhavam, let's say the two had an argument with Zeus for creating such a being just to test if Billy was capable of dealing with huge problems.

Batman can't be left out obviously, Batman clearly knows about the captain's identity, but surprisingly Billy knew who Batman was since he joined the League.

Batman showing up at Billy's raggedy apartment at night, saying he knows he's Captain Marvel, and Billy simply says with a smirk on his face, "Why am I not surprised... Bruce?"

So from then on Batman decided to make Billy his, pseudo son, using Billy to help them find clues at the parties he has to be at. Bruce will obviously make Billy keep an eye on Damien, deep down he hopes that the two of them will become good friends.

Superman is not something different either, being a reporter it wouldn't be difficult to find him and Billy together doing some reporting together. Or weird doing nerdy stuff with Jonathan.

I imagine they end up switching places to deal with their problems, Clark dealing with Black Adam while Captain Marvel makes Lex Luthor have a breakdown seeing Superman... Devour Kryptonite.

For Green Lantern, it would be interesting to think how disconcerting it would be to see Billy wearing a Lantern ring. I thought about the Indigos but for taste, but he could be using others like blue and green.

changing course of action in the middle of a planetary battle, and then having to register dominion over the planet that he, Mary and Freddy make habitable.

Green Arrow and Black Canary weren't left out either, it would be funny if Captain Marvel and Arrow ended up in Robin Hood's world.

And Black Canary would probably be giving Billy a good hour of therapy... and probably spoiling him a lot.

It would also be cool if Billy had his own personas to blend into the cities and their heroes.

Billy using a "vampire" persona in case he has to deal with any magical problems in Gotham, Starro as his Robin and whenever Billy needs to disappear he turns into a bunch of bats.

Billy could also use an Archer Persona to deal with Star City, like Golden Arrow (old Fawcett comics character). Like Hank from Dungeons & Dragons, using a golden magic bow with infinite arrows (not very powerful, right!?).

Billy's persona in Atlantis, a simple child who has many magical abilities and who is extremely close to King Arthur and Queen Mera, and his son as well. And he can talk to fish like King Arthur... is he the king's lost son!? Holy... wow.

I saw a post about which lantern ring he would like or not, so I tried to make that post too and I hope it's interesting.

I believe that depending on the version, Billy wouldn't even be affected by the rings, like the red and orange ones. Billy's pure heart or his dedication to being a good person would make him be able to make the ring stop being attracted or work on him.

Especially when it comes to the Orange Lanterns, Billy would never want to be anything like his uncle, and he would also have to deal head on with his own sin of greed.

The Red Lanterns would be the same thing, Billy went through hundreds and hundreds of problems whether they were because he was homeless or because of his responsibilities as a hero and guardian. Billy had to learn to put his anger aside or he never suffered from anger like normal people.

I keep thinking about him being forced to have the red ring placed on his finger, and simply nothing or him getting rid of his hellish rage and throwing the ring away.

I must say that in my own headcannon, Billy would have a good relationship with the Indigo Lanterns. Billy traps several psychotic beings, and the Indigos take these psychotics and force them to have the ring.

However, in Billy's case, I think he would be chosen by the Indigo Lanterns' ring/staff because of his enormous compassion. Being probably the only one, if not one of the only ones who were chosen by emotion and not forced to have the ring.

Now for the other rings, like the green or blue lanterns, Billy wouldn't accept them because he doesn't want to, let's be honest, any child would accept them. But Billy knows that too much power corrupts even if he sees something hopeful, and Billy already has too much power and his hands to accept even more..

So I imagine him keeping the rings he received in the rock next to the lanterns, with the promise that if they needed him they would just have to call him. Which makes me think of Hal and John surprised to see Billy with a ring or three in the middle of the battle. Having his adventures and misadventures together with his fellow league members.

I was looking at wonderjanga's post (Marvel and YJ) and I realized how disconcerting it is to see Captain Marvel going from a powerhouse to a person unqualified to be an adult.

Captain Marvel has always been someone very wise given the wisdom of Solomon, however it is not uncommon to see that the man. doing something very good, but it's disconcerting. And the league...doesn't understand how someone who not only acts like a child can change so quickly.

Even though the stories he creates while alone are as simple as a child's, they can be so different from the stationery he hands over to Batman. In his paperwork there is nothing but extremely perfect text. No spelling mistakes that indicate that the papers that Marvel writes for himself, have indications that they are made by the same person.

(not that this applies to me, spelling mistakes are just the basics)

Then comes the drawings, which are so different from each other. Marvel felt comfortable drawing at the end of a meeting, and the drawing was deplorable, done in a way that reminds someone who has never drawn so much in his life, even though he apparently lived as long as Diana. So Marvel, after returning from a mission, takes a painting and paint, which not even the league knew were in the tower. And draws a never-before-seen work of art, in a way that is quite innovative, just because Dinha jokingly asked that she should earn a reward from the big red cheese, for helping him make a wardrobe with normal clothes from this century.

(The painting must be worth a lot of money, and Dinah is perplexed that she got a piece of art, just because she picked out some clothes for Marvel)

I can imagine how disconcerting it must be for Batman to try to understand Marvel, he always acts like a child most of the time, but when he asks Marvel to give an insight into the plan, Marvel describes an extremely efficient military tactic that Batman himself hadn't thought of.

Marvel was chosen to be YJ's den mother, just because Red Tornado and Black Canary were on a mission. It was supposed to be something simple, right? Give the teenagers a break. We sent Marvel so he could distract the team and they could rest. So it was extremely disconcerting for the league to see Marvel trying to get all the teens on their toes in an experimental combat class. Marvel usually acts like a child around the league, so why does he act like he should here? being a serious person in passing the oral lesson and giving useful tips to YJ

Which brings us to the next question: why when Marvel fights, he fights in such an incredibly sloppy way. Superman has seen Marvel hold back from biting his opponents. In practically all the fights so far it has been like this, Marvel doesn't seem to be taking this seriously, so one day Hawkgirl gives Marvel an ultimatum, either he learns to fight properly or he won't go on missions for a while. So Marvel, seeing that he has no option to deny or flee, he fights. Using the same fighting art as Diana, it was quite efficient, let's say, it's a bit scary to see Marvel fight seriously.

This idea also came from a post by imnotditzy ( Billy and Marvel have very different fighting styles.)

It's disconcerting to everyone that Marvel acts like a child, but in reality he is extremely efficient in everything he does.

Batman is having trouble dealing with Marvel's contingency plan, especially after he discovers that the supposed demigod is nothing more than a 13-year-old child. It is extremely disconcerting that such power was given to a homeless and orphaned child. At least now the league understands why Marvel acts the way it does. And all attempts to send him to YJ are vehemently denied. expelling Marvel is also not an option since, as the saying goes: he will not stop doing his job as a "champion of magic" and hero.

I just saw a post from Wonderjanga (C.C. And Great Grandpa Wayne), and it improved my head cannon about Billy telling the league, that he remembers everything he went through in those 84 years of the time bubble.

I wasn't going to post this but I changed my mind. In my Head Cannon, Billy is already older, like 16 or 17 years old. He has been in the league for a few years since he was a kid.

Ever since Captain Marvel (or Billy Batson) joined the league, he's hardly ever asked for a reunion so it would obviously be a proven thing to deal with. Bruce was worried about this, for a few weeks now Billy has been acting strangely, missing some meetings and not responding to the communicators or the messages we send him.

So him calling a meeting was important, especially because he said it was urgent. The league members were quick to arrive, even Flash who is usually late arrived early, Billy didn't say much he just looked down trying to understand something... something was wrong Bruce could feel it.

Billy: Thank you for coming, I would like to say that the problem is not the end of the world, at least not our world but mine. I recently discovered why Fawcett has so many mental hospitals.

Superman: What do you mean by that Billy?

Billy: Do you remember the Justice Squad?

Wonder Woman: Yes, I fought alongside them in the second war, its members were Bullet Man and Woman, Golden Arrow, Mr. Scarlet and his helper Pinky, Mega Spy and Ibis the Invincible.

Green Arrow: From what we know, they returned to the United States for an urgent government mission. We have no further information about them to this day. Some myths say they were killed, others say they deserted and disappeared from the map. I prefer to believe the latter.

Billy: I found out what happened to them. When they returned for an urgent mission, they were assigned to deal with a being called King Kull. Just like Vandal Savage he is also a caveman, high intelligence and physical condition. In prehistoric times, King Kull was the ruler of a race of proto-humans known as the Undermen (also called the Beastmen), a brutish but technologically advanced race who ruled over humanity until they were finally overthrown in a revolt. Kull survived into the 20th century trapped in a state of suspended animation. When he woke up he decided that humans should suffer the same as he suffered, so he built a Suspendium bomb.

Batman: What would Suspendium be?

Billy: Suspendium was an artificial compound developed by Dr Silvana.

Flash: Since when has Silvana been alive?

J'onn: Where are you going with this Billy?

Billy:Well... I-I knew Fawcett wasn't a "normal" place, not because of the abundant magic that pours into the city from the Rock of Eternity, but because of everything, the culture that hasn't advanced, the fashion sense that hasn't changed, and so on. I kept this in my head and went looking for answers, not only out of curiosity but because of memories that didn't make sense. Memories that I no longer remembered, I lived them.

Black Canary : Are you okay Billy?

Billy: yes, as far as possible.

Billy: I followed the clues that my memories gave me, and I arrived at an old building, the facade of Sivana, one of the Solar Centers, there was a passage to the basement and there I discovered where the old heroes of the Second World War ended up. They were trapped in a state of suspended animation, all of them, I came to the conclusion that the effect of the Suspendium had worn off after all these years. Apparently the Justice Squadron was unable to get Kull to detonate the bomb, everyone on Fawcett was affected, the heroes and Kull were trapped in a state of suspended animation that has not yet passed.

(Hal) Green lantern: Holy shit...

Billy: Yeah, holy shit. Well that was my report for the month, I would like to take a really long vacation, recommended by my psychiatrist.

Black canary: Psychiatrist!?!?!

Billy: Yeah, I'm seeing a-a psychiatrist, after discovering that my life was a loop of suffering and pain, finally my mind gave out and I developed a dissociative personality disorder, I-I- this is the first time I've come to consciousness. I-I-I have a few already, one of them is an 8 year old child called Hedwing, the other my supposed evil twin, all I fight are the sins, he was born from them I don't know his name yet...

Black Canary gets up and goes to Billy and hugs him."Oh Billy you don't deserve this"

Batman takes off his hood and stands up, hugging Billy. "I can't do much for you, but I will do what I can to help you, money won't be a problem."

wiping away the tears. "T-thanks, but that's not the whole problem, m-my Captain form also had new personalities."

After coming back from the shock Superman says: My God, I didn't know that was possible...

Not either, but the personalities that came are called Lord Shazam and a goth who says he has no name. says Billy leaving the hug: Lord Shazam prefers not to leave the Rock and Goth likes to explore the world.

So you mean that all that discussion about you being a child was a complete waste of time? Flash says trying to break the ice.

running his hand through his hair and leaning back in his chair (Hal) Green Lantern says: Nice try Barry, but how old are you Billy? Because the second war was about 85 years ago.

Well... coincidence or not, the Suspendium bomb exploded 84 years ago, in 1940 when I was 10 years old and had already been at war for 1 year. says Billy sitting in his chair.

Living for a long time has its consequences, Billy, but you are not alone, not today or tomorrow, because you have us and me, we will help you, little brother. Diana says, smiling at Billy.

Thanks but still, it's not something I like since well... I was childhood friends with Thomas Wanye. Billy looks at Bruce.

My father? Were you my father's childhood friend?.

Oh yes, how could I forget, Tommy was wild but fun, we got a good scolding from our parents, good times, I think that if the bomb hadn't exploded I would be a friend of the family, and possibly the one who would have been adopted would have been you. Smiling from ear to ear, Billy says looking at Bruce.

I don't know if it was good but that's it, have a good day, or night or afternoon, aah be well.

I was reading a fanfic now, and I got the idea of how terrifying it must be for Fawcett's thieves, they're going to rob someone in an alley and BOOM a bolt of lightning in broad daylight, right behind you.

Then a big man with a lot of muscles emerges from the smoke, lightning bolts dance across his body, he looks at you and says: you better put the gun down, we don't want anyone to get hurt.

This is certainly scary, especially for other heroes.

I imagine how furious Batman must be knowing that the new hero recruited by the league, even though he is somewhat afraid of him, was never enough to stop Captain Marvel from appearing in Gotham for his so-called job as "champion of magic".

On yet another night when Batman is finishing his shift as a hero, with probably someone from the Bat-Family, lightning on a cloudless night.

Behind the others, in the alley below them, the technology shorts out and in the alley coming out of the smoke is Marvel, walking towards a store that is opening and he enters, grabs a staff and flies away, as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

In Metropolis, Clark is walking down a street with Lois, his beloved. It's a beautiful day but there are no clouds in the sky. BOOM. Lightning strikes a store. Captain Marvel comes out carrying a demon on his shoulder and flies to where only God knows, because Marvel disappears in mid-air (teleports to the Rock).

And so on and so forth. For the league it is just a theory that the captain does not always live in our reality, apparently the work of "Champion of Magic" makes him travel in several dimensions, from job to job.

But for Billy, he just doesn't understand how every time he tries to use magic he ends up being teleported to another place. (Robber in an alley).

Whenever he tries to have a normal job as a reporter, something gets in the way.

(School trip to Metropolis, great place for a segment with Superman or Lois Lane and Clark Kent the reporters, but as always there is a demon in the middle...)

And last but not least, whenever he has to go to Gotham, because apparently Gotham would have several smuggled magical items.

I was watching some fanfics about Captain Marvel with the league, and I thought what if the captain didn't lie to them?.

Usually this situation between the league and the captain is portrayed in a way where the captain lies to the league.

but what if it was the other way around, what if he decided to tell the truth or at least part of it.

In another end of the league meeting, and in another normal conversation about family and personal life.

Superman: Jon is doing well on the Titans, and is behaving himself after running away on a mission with Damien. Speaking of which, how is your son Bruce?

Batman: As always, not seeing the problem with this, he thinks he executed the mission very well, with some setbacks. But in the midst of all this trouble I'm happy that he's making friends.

Flash: My nephew Wally is doing very well at the science fair and is getting faster and faster, one day he will pass me, but what about you J'onn, how is your niece?

Martian Manhunter: She's doing well, her relationship with Conner is helping her adapt to Earth. But what about you, captain? Is there anything interesting happening in your life?.

Captain Marvel: Oh not really, my best friend has a family now so I'm just kind of lonely.

Green Arrow: Your best friend? You never told us you had a best friend. I mean, you never tell us anything about yourself.

Captain Marvel: I don't say anything about my life because there's nothing interesting to tell.

Green Arrow: Are you sure? Could you tell us where you live?

Captain Marvel: I don't have a house, I live on the streets actually.

wonder woman: on the streets!?, Where do you sleep then, I mean do you need to sleep?

Captain Marvel: I usually sleep in some abandoned building, when I'm not in a building I'm on the Rock. And no, I don't need to sleep, but I like to feel human.

Flash: Wait, do you at least have a job?

Captain Marvel: No, for a long time it was because I wasn't old enough for it, then it was because I had no education, then came the powers and wisdom of Solomon. Finally I could have a job since I know a lot of things now, but I don't wear a mask so it wouldn't work. But hey, the work of a hero and champion doesn't stop so I'm fine.

Aquaman: So you don't have a job or a home, Captain, do you have a family?

Captain Marvel: They died in an accident at work, my father, my mother and sister, they all died I'm only here because at the time my grades were bad and I got sick. I was left with my uncle who stole my parents' inheritance and threw me out onto the streets.

So I went from foster home to foster home, one worse than the other, then I ran away and lived on the streets for a long time, then I started the wizard and he gave me his powers... the end.

Captain Marvel: Anyway, I'm going to Fawcett now, my life story has been told and your curiosities have been satisfied. Have a good day.

I think it would be cool if Billy and Bruce pretended to be father and son instead of actually being one.

I think this would happen some time after Bruce finds out who Captain Marvel is.

On one of Billy's school trips to Gotham, funded by Bruce Wayne, and in yet another investigation to see why there are dangerous magical items that always go to Gotham

Billy finds a way to disappear from the group, and goes to the agreed place for Bruce to take him to the store.

The trip to the store went smoothly, the magical item was safely recovered and now it was time to get back to their proper tasks... or so they thought.

because Bruce Wayne was seen not only walking the streets of Gotham, but with an unknown child.

It would be easy for Bruce to simply get out of this situation by getting in his car and driving away, but Billy decided to get back at Batman for snooping around in his life.

Then in the greatest act Billy has ever done, he grabs Bruce's expensive suit and says, "We have to get back quick, Mommy's waiting at home."

After that, all the news channels go crazy with the "information" that Bruce Wayne has another biological son and a wife, could it be the same mother as Damien? Could it be someone else? Since all the information about little Billy comes from Fawcett, that Billy works at Radio Whiz, that he lived on the streets and that he went through foster homes.

It was reported in the newspapers that Bruce Wayne has a biological son, and that he was with a woman from Fawcett.

Now Bruce is in trouble with a bunch of journalists trying to find out who is whose wife, the mother of his supposed son, and worst of all Bruce can't adopt Billy because after all these years alone he managed to be emancipated, he only lives with Uncle Dudley because he wants to.

Dick is laughing his head off at the whole situation.

Jason is bugging Bruce about this.

Tim is creating false information about this just because it's funny.

Damien is tipping his hat to Billy for his excellent play (not that he'll admit it).

You know, Captain Marvel's powers are basically control C + control V, Having its power variations depending on the champion.

Which makes me think, Solomon had many women in his life, and since the powers are copy and paste.

I imagine how problematic it was for Billy to get used to remembering women he never saw, but who he remembers with such affection.

How many times has he not looked twice at women because of these memories? This could be one of the reasons why so many women give him their numbers.

Or of the possible countless children Solomon had, the members of the league might think that he misses his own children. Now whether they think they are children from over a thousand years ago or not is up to them.
