apparently this didn’t originate out of thin air and asking people for their color didn’t just start for fun. it came from people greeting others during a time of wide spread illness, where your color indicated how far along you were in the illness. they asked “what is your/their color” to gauge how someone was doing; for example, if they were yellow they were hanging in there and if they were blue you knew that they’d succumbed to the illness. this question stuck and has now worked its way into the iraqi lexicon.

hey folks. i was formally admitted to the college i am transferring to as of today (12/17/2020) and i have accepted the admission to get away from my abusive family + start living authentically and autonomously, but i have some barriers in the way.

i owe approx. $480 to my therapist’s office for extensive trauma work throughout quarantine while i was stuck in my family home. i also owe my current college $1,234.76 for insurance costs from when i had to buy my own insurance after i was financially cut off by my parents for transitioning. these two amounts are the most urgent for my fundraising needs; though i was accepted to my new college, i cannot properly enroll without a final academic transcript which i can’t acquire without paying off my account statement.

lastly, i need to pay $425 to my new college for the enrollment and orientation fees, as reflected here.

i am really, really close to escaping this situation for good. please help me, i’ll do tarot readings, make art, etc. upon request. i have a job but i’m chronically ill and it’s been slow so they cut my hours. thank you.
