I greet her shyly, and she greets me warmly. Someone wolf whistles, and I want the ground to swallow me whole. She just laughs and rests her hand on the small of my back. I try not to shudder, but I see her eyes narrow as I’m greeted by a flicker of hunger.

She leans over and speaks close to my ear. I’m half-aware that everyone has their eyes on us. “What’s a pretty girl like you doing at a party like this alone? Did your boyfriend leave you alone?”

I shake my head, and she says “Girlfriend, then?”

I just mumble that I’m here alone. She hums and pulls me closer. I notice her leg has slipped between mine. An image of her slipping her fingers up my dress and halfway discreetly fingering me in public flashes in front of my eyes. I don’t know whether to hope she doesn’t or does notice that I’m soaked through my panties.

Her leg presses distinctly against me, and I fail to repress a shudder. “Can mommy take this as an invitation?”
