like P O I S O N !

             its pouring rain--and cold. well, it seemed cold. there was fog. she didn’t feel it, though. a lot of people were gone. pity--but why wasn’t she one of them ? someone else occupied this rooftop. only way he could get up here is if he was---ARROWS she recognized from the former news reports. an avenger. he seemed sad. 

           “ I don’t think catching a cold will make this any better. unless-- “ she’s leaned against a wall of brick casually, soaked herself, but not seeming to care too much, giving a shrug. “ y’know, that’s exactly what you’re trying to do. “ making himself feel worse about whoever he lost. 

           they had tried catching her for MONTHS. had it been months? or had it been a year? ever since she broke free from that facility. she had to be no older than six. with these unlimited powers. it made her so hard to be caught. she was fast--she was strong. 

         she had yet to kill anyone. not on purpose. if she’d hurt anyone by causing disruptions to stop the chase, it could have been possible. but it was the BAD people who wanted her back in that laboratory. she would NEVER go back. 

    but she wasn’t totally out of the loop. she knew of things. she could hear the radios. someone had been recruited to hunt her down once more. someone else. the girl was tired. tired of this chase. tired of living in the wilderness. but she would do ANYTHING not to get caught. 

    PEW ! something sliced through the side of a tree, the girl running so fast she was just a stream of light. weaving through trees zig zagging and circles. did he know she was small? or did they just tell him that there was this monster that needed to be ended? that was a threat to america and everyone else? 

“Look, little lady. My powers are different than yours and I have no knowledge on the source of yours and how to control them, not without an aid. Hence, we are going to do it in the same way my powers were dealt with when I posed a threat to the environment.” Thor placed Stormbreaker on his back and started moving through the intergalactic bar to reach the stables.

LITTLE LADY ? well that was new. downcast brows raised at the sudden portal that opened up, eyes wide. holy shit. ‘ we-- ‘ gaze darting around frantically. where the fuck was that going? fucking space?! she didn’t want to stay here. misunderstood and an apparent danger to society. it was too painful. clenching her fist, bri inhaled deeply before stomping after the bigger man, head lowered and the usually loud and disobedient girl followed. her way of being grateful. 

        yells from groups of men came from a corner by the docks, a few of them attempting to run away but tripping over one another. one man was flung into the ocean, another miraculously thrown through the wood planks. two beams of light shot inside, gun fire beginning to sound off. 

         dumbasses. she was tired of hearing about this mob’s crimes and how unsafe it was becoming out here. they messed up trying to abduct a woman (her) walking alone at night. but they picked the right one, because bri would be the one to end it all. “ not so tough now, are you assholes? “ she yelled while hovering above the ground, fire spitting from her hands and punches galore. they didn’t need to die. but it sure would be nice for all of them to go to jail. how was she to do that, though? hm.
