I am enough.
weird how people can fuck you up like literally destroy your trust and self esteem
i feel stronger every day
i beat myself up so much
over you
i forgot how much i liked me
i forgot how good it felt to be me

Ok. So...
I finished university strong, I learned and I learned to love it, good.
I started a job two weeks later. Itâs perfect for me, I love it and Iâm learning a lot. But hereâs the thing...
I donât understand why mental illness has to define my life in one way or another. I feel happy where I am, Iâm in such a great position right now, but inside I am crumbling. Iâm shaken by everything, and my energy is waning. I just want to press restart and for once be fully me in a new place in my life. Why do I feel so terribly consumed by mental illness.
You think attention is love, and thatâs why you suffer so deeply.
The Better Man Project
Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. Youâre doing just fine.
Charlotte Eriksson (via wordsnquotes)
1: You are not lazy, you are ill. 2: You are not selfish for taking care of yourself. 3: You are not arrogant for loving yourself. 4: Itâs okay to feel sad, but itâs not okay to let the sadness win. 5: Your worth isnât defined by if a person does or does not love you. 6: Do not put all of your happiness into one person. Ultimately you have to be your own hero. 7: A healthy person does not wish to be sicker. There is no such thing as ânot sick enoughâ. 8: Itâs okay to be alone every once in a while. 9: A bad day doesnât equal a bad life. 10: Sometimes not giving into your addictions will make you feel worse in that moment than if you had given in, but honestly, the worst days in recovery are better than the best days in relapse. 11: Strategies and techniques are your new best friend. 12: Eating doesnât mean youâre weak. 13: Not eating doesnât mean youâre strong. 14: The words âf*ck itâ do come in handy once in a while. 15: Your feelings are valid simply because youâre feeling them. You do not need to justify yourself. 16: Never feel guilty for being sad because âsomeone has it worse than youâ. 17: People are not perfect. They will offend you, hurt you and let you down from time to time, but this can be from lack of understanding; it does not mean that they donât love you. 18: You are not a burden. 19: You have to learn to love yourself before you can fully love someone else. 20: Do not let your illness define or limit you. 21: Donât be afraid to walk away from toxic relationships/friendships. 22: Do the things you love. Every. Single. Day. 23: Itâs okay to be different. 24: Good things can, do, and will happen to you. 25: Recovery is not about being strictly happy, itâs about learning to become whole. 26: You cannot change the past, but you can learn from it. So stop analyzing it and wondering about what you couldâve or shouldâve done. Learn to let go. 27: Letting go isnât a one time thing, you need to do it over and over again. 28: The bad things people say about you, actually are reflections of what they think of themselves, not you. 29: Everything seems bad when itâs 3am. 30: Youâre not worthless, youâre priceless. 31: One day this pain will all make sense to you. There are things you need to learn. 32: Ultimately itâs only your opinion of yourself that matters. Do what makes YOU happy. 33: U hella rad.

Thank you so much!
Iâm not sure when you sent this since iâd taken a bit of a hiatus, but iâm happy youâre here :) xx
newsflash asshole! ive been valid this entire goddamn time!
concept: going to bed early and getting eight, maybe even nine hours of sleep. the bed has clean sheets and the room is a perfect temperature for sleep. all important work is finished. you can wake up whenever without any pressure or impending activity the next day.

sheâs since been banned from napping in the study because having the pictures on the walls misbehave is apparently âinimical to productivityâ or something
Date someone who understands your mental illness and will power through your outbursts with you.
Itâs what you deserve.
You deserve someone who cares enough to stay even when youâre not okay.
