Do you ever just…Love a character to bits because their visual design is glorious, and their general personality traits just perfectly click together into a very well written piece of the story and it lives in your head rent free from day one,     but at the same time looking for any content of them is pain because the fandom either missed the point of the character or applied so many Completely innacurate headcanons that the fanon version of them is nothing like the original (and is often way worse)?

This post wasn’t about anyone specific, however,, Can we talk about how some parts of the JoJo fandom turned Diavolo from a paranoid and traumatized who walked around in blankets in fear of being seen, to a sugar daddy dom that’s super smooth and always knows what to say?? Is it the voice?? most likely, but still, Yes, Diavolo was scary and intimidating in the canon for some time, that I admit. However, from what I’ve seen pretty often, people tend to write him as bossy and “hawt” 24/7 when...............Let’s face it, if he had to go to the shop to actually buy something without timeskipping or using Doppio’s body, he’d probably cry. Or just leave the shop. I’m not saying no one should write Diavolo as a strong alpha male, but maybe...Balance it a little so looking up his tag won’t result in five “Diavolo crushes Y/N’s boobs with his high heels” in a row. But that’s just the rambling of a small JoJo blog.
