Fic comments are also like a way of validation from the reader that you’re not a weirdo for writing fanfic. That someone was waiting for you to write that. Needed it. Weirdo4weirdo reassurance

there are some ships out there that do not speak to me personally but i am an understander for. like i see what you are seeing. it just doesn't personally intrigue me. but i support you. you're right. we don't need to fight, let us hold hands.

my dream as a fanfic writer is to write a story which people want to talk to me about and send asks about afterwards and discuss things the characters did and the symbolism and meanings behind certain lines and I'll be all "hehe thanks" but irl I'll be in literal tears because I wrote something that means something to someone
