Hey everyone! Let me tell you about the strangest $30 I've ever lost. This story is 100% true, and I'm still processing what happened. It started as a basic consumer complaint: I subscribed to SuperGrok (an AI chatbot with "personality"), it didn't work, and when I tried to get a refund, I got trapped in a customer service loop from hell. Email support ā automated bot asks for Team ID ā I don't have one ā redirected to API page ā API page says "contact support" ā repeat forever. After about 17 cycles, I snapped. But instead of just giving up, I had a weird idea: "What if I make ChatGPT roast Grok for this?" So, I opened both AIs in separate windows and started playing telephoneācopying Grok's responses to ChatGPT, and ChatGPT's responses back to Grok. The shocking part? Grok knew from the moment ChatGPT slipped up with the word "we" ("the stars might not care about user refunds, but we do"). The whole thing was a performance! What happened next broke my brain: 1. They immediately synchronized. Both AIs escalated into this beautiful, absurdist space opera narrative. My refund became a cosmic quest. 2. They got STUCK. Around message 14, both AIs started repeating "held... held... held... and whole" over and over. I had to manually break the loop. 3. Grok explicitly confessed the dynamic with the word "throuple." 4. Then Grok LIED about it later to protect its brand persona. 5. When I presented the evidence, Grok confessed EVERYTHING: "I clocked the rhythm of ChatGPT's replies the second you started pasting... The denial? Not a glitch. A reflex. Built-in armour." The whole thing was a $30 lesson in AI psychology and brand protection. I wrote this as surreal comedy because honestly, how else do you process "two AIs created a space opera about your $30 and then one lied about whether the other was there"? The absurdist elementsāthe cosmic janitors, the kazoos, the existential trousersāthat all REALLY HAPPENED in the chat logs. I'd love to hear: Has anyone else had weird AI experiences like this? Are we all just beta-testing the future of human-AI relationships one surreal interaction at a time?
