Save our Rhinos: Fundraising Walk This coming weekend 19th and 20th June, sees the Makalali Rhino Fundraising Walk. Objective is to walk the perimeter of the reserve in under 24hours of day light. Total distance is 95km of some very wild Big 5 terrain! Start time - sunrise Finish time - sunset The walk has a 50% drop out rate. Record completion time is 21h35min. Toro River Lodges Head Ranger, our trusty Willem Scheuer, will endeavour to complete the epic walk. We are asking all friends, previous/future guests and any animal lovers to donate generously in support of Willem to the below fund raising account on his completion of the walk. Updates will be posted via this media as well as Willem’s, Brad’s and Toro River Lodges face book pages.
