"Assigning prefect schedules is headache inducing."
"I will curse the next person who wants to reschedule their time and not feel sorry for it."
You still have a little bit more time to study, which is good. But waiting for them to arrive isnāt fun; I get that. Howās the new term going?
I supposed, Iām not exactly the most patient person in the world. Itās fine, many students are just worried about whatās happening outside the castle. Itās hard to calm all of them down sometimes.
Iād love to say yes. Iād also love to say that Hogwarts would fall apart without a Head Girl. Unfortunately, Iām not sure either is entirely true.
Iām not entirely sure about either, I just would like to get my NEWTs over and done with.
"Can I graduate early? That would be nice."

Urinetown, Ziegfeld Follies, The King and I, Anything Goes
Urinetown:What's the most disgusting drink you've ever consumed?Ā
I had a really bad cup of coffee during one of my visits to London. It wasawful.
Ziegfeld Follies:If you could go back in time and live in a different decade/era, which one would it be?Ā
The 20s. The 1920s I mean.
The King and I:How was your most recent travel experience?
I visted Ethan over the holiday break.
Anything Goes:What's the best compliment you've ever received?Ā
You have nice eyes.
Beauty and the Beast, Mama Mia!, Wicked
Beauty and the Beast:If you had to be an inanimate object, what would you be?
Probably a book? I don't know, book seems the most reasonable answer for me.
Mama Mia!:How do you feel about your parents?Ā
Indifferent. If I could go on with my life without needing them or knowing who they are, I would.
Wicked:Do you believe that no good deed goes unpunished?Ā
It really depends on the situation. If you get involved with something you really shouldn't, sometimes then, you might deal with consequences-- no matter if it was a good deed-- but I don't think every good deed is a bad decision.
Give me a Broadway musical.
Anything Goes: What's the best compliment you've ever received?

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas ā Astoria & Ethan [1978]
Ethan remained next to the buzzer in his flat, finger pressed firmly on the intercom button just to double check that she wasnāt still stuck outside in the cold winter weather. āAre you in?ā After a short while, when he heard no reply, he gathered she was indeed in and on her way.
Upon releasing the buzzer, he turned back to his cooling mulled wine and flicked the gas back on to keep it at a steady temperature. He gave it three stirs before serving up two glassfuls of the drink, one of the final steps in his grandmotherās recipe. He heard a knock, then, and a voice followed shortly after and the comment made him laugh subtly. āSurvived?ā Ethan echoed, walking over to the door and turning the handle, swinging it open. āYou know, there are a lot more stranger things in the Muggle world than a buzzer on a wall.ā A grin now spread from ear to ear, and he failed to suppress a laugh. āMerry Christmas, Astoria.ā
Glancing away from the door as she waited, Astoria assessed the corridor that she stood in. Her eyes narrowed at the still portrait that she spotted near Ethan's door. The subjects in the picture were perfectly frozen and she couldn't help but to wonder if it hurt for them to stay that still for so long. Muggle things were just plain odd.
Her head whipped around as soon as the door opened and her brows shot up at his statement. "There are," she questioned taking a step inside and unclasping the button of her cloak. "I don't think I can handle much stranger, I still feel weird for talking to a box." She slipped her cloak off her shoulders and smiled up at him. "Merry Christmas, Ethan, something smell absolutely delicious. What is it?"

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas ā Astoria & Ethan [1978]
When he discovered a brief silence at the end of the intercom, Ethan assumed it was kids messing around and pushing a button next to any name on the list by the front door. It was never a frequent occurrence, but it had happened two or three times since he moved in. When he heard a voice suddenly come from his speaker, he smiled instantly, recognising who it was on the other end. Good thing I didnāt hang up. That would not have gone down well.
"Astoria!" Ethan smiled. The second ring of the buzzer was loud to his ear as he continued to speak to her. "Itās me. Sorry, this whole uh, situation with talking into a small box on the side of the wall must be quite strange," he started, occasionally flicking his eyes back over at the mulled wine on top of the hob, debating whether to throw the gas back on a low heat to keep it from going cold too quickly. "Iām going to take a guess and say the doorās locked downstairs. I donāt know why. Itās only morning. Anyway, let me unlock it for you."Ā Ethan pressed the top button with his free hand to unlock the door for a temporary amount of time. "Come straight up."
Strange indeed, Astoria mused to herself as her fingers raked through her long curls and glanced around. She was pretty certain she looked pretty foolish talking to whatever box that Ethan described. She soon heard the door unlocked and she quickly stepped forward and pulled it open. She stepped inside and took in deep breath, glad that everything was figured out. She pulled out the note to look at the apartment number before she looked for the lift and quickly slipped inside. She pressed the level button and leaned back against the wall as the lift lurched upward.
The bell dinged and the door opened for her and Astoria made her way into the corridor. She counted down the doors until she found the door with Ethanās number. She quickly knocked, āopen up, I survived the weird muggleness, I deserve to see my best friend.ā
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas ā Astoria & Ethan [1978]
It was only one day before Christmas and it surprised Ethan how stress-free he was about the widely celebrated holiday. Everything was ready. His familyās gifts were bought, wrapped and placed in bags under the Christmas tree in his living room next to the fire ready for Christmas day and Astoriaās was waiting in a small gift bag next to them with her second small present propped up behind it - Ethan felt nervous about her firstĀ gift still weeks after he had bought it, and was now merely hoping and praying in the short while before she arrived at his flat for their mini christmas together that she would like it.
He had been busy that morning following the family famous recipe of his Great Grandmotherās mulled wine; itās smell gradually spreading all throughout his home which made it feel more christmassy inside than it already seemed. Just as he flicked off the gas for the ring that the drink was brewing on and gave the warming drink a final stir, he heard the buzzer ring loudly over the music. Taking a quick step, he reached forward and pressed the button to allow the intercom to connect to whoever it was downstairs by the front door of the building. āHello?ā
Tori glanced down at the bit of parchment that she had in her hands to look at the address that Ethan had given her. She glanced back up at the building in front of her and determined that she had the right place. She tucked away the note and gently pulled her gloves further down on her hands. With a deep breath, she made her way up the steps and reached for the door knob only to find it locked. Her brow furrowed out of confusion as she gave it a quick shake but the door didn't budge. "Huh," she said as she took a step back and examined the door in front of her. "Interesting."
Her eyes soon found a row of buttons and she took a step for it. She saw Ethan's name by one of them, and cautiously, she pushed the button. She nearly jumped back when Ethan's voice appeared soon after and she looked around but didn't see him anywhere. "Hello," she said back feeling a bit foolish doing so as she pushed the button again. "Ethan?"
It will, but, fortunately for us, we still have a few more months before that time comes.
Few months to watch people stress over it.
What's your favourite Christmas memory?
Probably my first Christmas at hogwarts in my second year.

Closest friends? Worst enemies?
Close friends: Ethan and Yelena. I don't have worst enemies, no one is that dumb to set me off. And honestly, having an enemy is as if I have competition, and I don't.
Does being in your common room make you feel extra studious?
The Library makes me more studious, the common room has too many good looking people, it can be a bit distracting.
