There's No Stopping Us • Lily + Marlene [ Feb. 9th ]
Stepping out of the small bathroom that was attached to her bedroom, Marlene gave her blonde girls one final shake before she took in her reflection in her full length mirror. The blonde had opted for her favorite little black, strapless dress. It hugged her subtle curves just right and showed off her long, lean legs the best way possible. She snagged her lipstick off her dresser and dabbed her lips with the bold red color. She pressed her lips together to make sure the lip color spread evenly as she made her way to her wardrobe and grabbed her leather jacket and the stilettos she wanted to wear. She slipped them both on and snagged her clutch and wand off her bed. She slipped the wand up her sleeve and into the holster she had on her arm as her eyes scanned around the room to make sure she had everything she needed. When she was certain, she apparated out of her flat and to the street near the Potters cottage.
Marlene strolled up to the front door and quickly knocked. She was rather excited for the upcoming night out for more than one reason. She, of course, never needed a reason to dress up and just act her she but tonight, she was heading out with Lily. She and Lily weren’t as close as she hoped them to be and she really wanted tonight to be the step in the right direction for them. And truth be told, with the war and all the work they did, they both could use a good night out full of innocent fun.
