i think a lot of people might need to hear that it's actually okay to waste food. if you're full, if you don't like it, if you just don't want it, it's okay! i personally always catch myself thinking i just need to push through and eat the last three painful bites of something and i realize... why? i'm not scraping a full family meal for 6 into the garbage every day. i'm literally just not eating 3 bites of a burger

if you’re eating the rest of the food off your plate out of a feeling of obligation rather than hunger or enjoyment it is as good as it would be in the trash. don’t force yourself. you are not a garbage disposal.
