Stony Silence, is going to be the base card effect in this example.

Collector Ouphe, would be the card I'd hear someone say "Collector Ouphe, is Stony Silence on a stick." But that's wrong, Collector Ouphe is Stony Silence on legs. There's no stick here...

Null Rod, is Stony Silence on a stick. I mean look at it... It's clearly a stick!

I know the "on a stick" thing is more a reference to Jeff Dunham's "jalapeno... on a stick." gag than a comment on the appearance of the card. Which is the source of my frustration. If content creators are going to call every new creature that has an old effect "X card is Y card on a stick" they better damn well do it with their best Jeff Dunham impersonation!
