No. No it is not. The premise of college is an institution where students become brilliant. It's the place where the key meets the door. Where experiences and memories are....blah blah blah! college isn't all that, I know! But college is important...without people who went to college, we would not have doctors, engineers, mathematicians, lawyers. All the people who say, "College is a waste of money and time" or "just go to Trade school", are setting you up. and yes, I'm talking about #that genius multi-billion dollar having CEO -- who would only hire people who have viable degrees. College is what you make of it and who you connect with. Not all degrees are useless, but some are more beneficial in this money-hungry society. That's not saying, you cannot maximize your chances with a gender studies degree. And that's not saying you can get a job with only a computer science degree. Tired of people saying STEM is the only route people can take, when that simply is NOT TRUE! There are endless routes to success and don't let people discourage you from either
