like, you could frame it as the game Rewarding you for not going through with it all. but most people seem to agree that noelle in the ch5 aborted route has it really bad, right? and it's only going to get worse, because now she does have to deal with all the problems she was going to run away from just a minute ago. we still put noelle through all that, we just missed a single step -- and to many people, that seems to be the only difference between getting epic hidden content or making the game go out like a fart because you were too evil. in fact, i think if there's going to be ANY (weird) 'path' that chides you for making poor choices, it's the aborted route; the route nobody realistically finishes unless you want to see what happens, if anything changes. it's like getting to a high LV in undertale just to see what sans has to say about it. you couldn't even go all the way through with it.
