How would you describe a dragon to someone who has never seen a dragon?

"Horse but make it a lizard and give it bat wings and horns"

didnt know how to interpret "make it a lizard" so i wrote lizard and drew an arrow pointing to the horse so people know its a lizard. Also didn't know what bat horns were so I gave it a horned bat nose

"A body like a big cat but completely covered in scales, the head of a crocodile with the horns of an ibex, and the wings of a bat on its back"

On it boss o7, ive mashed all these animals together and threw scales all over it. This the dragon you saw?

"Take a lizard, extend the neck. Add a pair of bat wings to the back. Add horns and sharp teeth."

Seems like we're onto somethin' boss! Though idk how it'd be so fearsome bein such a small thing.

i dont know if this is a dragon but it could definitely be some kind of god

People make the COOLEST stuff with my baby, yall have no idea how much it means to me to see her come to life in so many different ways- whe means a lot to me and to have people enjoy her enough to make all of these wonderful things makes me so happy and emotional 😭💕

I get to have a physical collection of things with this character bc people are awesome and make things with their hands, it makes me feel things, thank you to everyone and I wish I could share more than 10 pics

#idk if im allowed to say anything as a white chick #but I've been thinking about this a lot lately- like the people who made things like fandoms exist (comics/novels and movies creators)#like jack kirby or charles m shultz for example #were tired of all their characters and works ALL being white. it was important to the original creators to include people and make cool shit #to the point that eventually we ended up with characters like black panther bc they were bored of the pure monotony #so WHY in fandoms and hobbies especially are yall choosing to be shitty and rascist???#like if you're bothered by this kinda stuff.. you dont love your fandom as much as you think you do #fandoms and comicons are built on the community and the community is built on works about fantastical worlds where humans protect eachother #but again i could be way out of line- im just saying if youre more racist or less aware than a white guy in the 30s- thats a you problem man #i know this post applies to more than comics- but if we're starting at the beginnings of fandoms itself- the entire point of this #was human connection and less prejudice in stories that could hopefully influence the real world. thats why cap fights nazis and redskull #just crazy to me that any kind of white supremacy exists in hobby/fandom spaces but idk if i have room to talk on the topic #im basically just saying let black people enjoy things. it shouldnt need to be said but here we are

On a whole new level of stress, I had a nightmare I was trying to raise abandoned button quails, they all had names and they were all so stupid, one kept just getting onto higher ground just to try to jump. Like I know this is dream logic, but Louie you are a cotton ball with toothpick bones how are you on the table going that fast???
