hello world!

it has been a hot minute since i have actually posted on tumblr dot com but now that i am in grad school i am planning to use this as a study blog! mainly looking to hold myself accountable but also celebrate my progress :)

i am currently working towards a masters degree in mechanical engineering, likely graduating in 2029 (i’m only a part time student since i work full time as well). hoping to post daily with progress updates and goals but we’ll see how this goes!

i’m not a very spooky person, but i do love fall and halloween! looking forward to our work halloween party. in other news, i have 2 assignments due this week and im going to try to get them both done by thursday night so i can actually go out and have some fun on friday.

survived another week of grad school! got my homework done with a lot less stress than last week thankfully and got through another set of math videos. feeling accomplished!

didn’t have quite the rush of productivity like I did yesterday, but i was still able to get through and other set of videos. this math class is really killing me - since it’s a flipped course there’s two videos for each day which doubles the time it takes to get through the content. i don’t mind learning the math but i’m looking forward to getting this class over with.

- start reading for lit class

spent a good chunk of time today getting through some of the math videos i’m behind on - actually felt some motivation! plus i am feeling (maybe delusional) confidence that i will be able to get my homework done on time.

veeeery long day at work today, so i wasn’t able to get through as many videos as i wanted to today. i am planning to get done with work earlier today so i can get through some more of the backlog. feeling a little nervous about this upcoming homework but i am sure i will figure it out.

truly had to grind today to get my homework done. i’ve been so busy with travel that i barely had time to work on it this week, but i just sat down and got as much as i could done before i had to submit it. looking forward to getting some sleep now that it’s done.

had a somewhat slow day today, but managed to get through another day of lecture backlog! ended up getting a last minute haircut and needed to pack for a trip so i had a little less time than i anticipated. hoping to get through another video or two tomorrow and get started on my next homework on the plane

have been down with a bit of a cold the last few days so i’ve been trying to fight through the brain fog to get my homework done. trying to channel some cozy fall vibes but the weather has still been pretty sunny
