posting into the visual novel void but i really hate the take of "visual novel devs put in nsfw for no reason!" i see parroted in a lot of spaces.
so.. you like yandere content, despite the fact it's inherently a toxic and taboo dynamic.. but you don't want torture porn or nsfw or intense stalking in the game.. but you want the dev to go deeper in the concept of a yandere.. right.
i feel like it's just sooo dumb to say.
people aren't dumb for not liking that stuff, but they're dumb for shaming others who are.
i'm gonna use sol from the kid at the back as an example here, people on tiktok shaming others for liking the character and losing their minds over the nsfw version of the game. the nsfw isn't in there for no reason. it's in there because people like it! do not play 18+ yandere visual novels and then say 'oh my godd!1!1!1 why is there sexual topics1!!1!11 this isn't furthering the plot or the character, it's sooo unnessecary!1!1!!'
it's an erotic horror game.. it's going to have erotic horror! it's a cow farm! there's gonna be cows outside!
