#lost fics

So basically like 2 or 3 years ago I remember looking for fics of Memorias de Idhun (The Idhun Chronicles) and finding this personal blog publication that had the title "Recomendacion de fanfic de memorias de idhun" and just as said on the title, it recommended a fic. The poster described the fic as being about the characters being interviewed, and that if you didn't mind the characters being occasionally ooc (out of character) then you would enjoy it, and they even had the link attached, with the link being called "Mi nombre? Mi nombre es..." or something similar to this which was also the title of the fic. I copied the link to the Wayback Machine since it naturally didn't show up just by the usual Google search, and while it took a while to load someone HAD saved it fortunately all the way back in 2008, though the fic might be older am not sure, on the now extinct fic site called Potterfics, which am pretty sure was a largery Hispanic fic site.

The fic isn't a masterpiece or anything, it's just that particular brand of teenage cringiness and humor of the 2000's that feels like a valuable part of both internet history and might be a fic someone read all those years ago, wanted to read again but couldn't find again for obvious reasons.

I didn't save anything like an idiot, not the blog post link, or the fic link, and Wayback Machine doesn't have a search history option. I even tried using the "My Activity" option on Google but it seems like the blog was deleted so now I'm stuck. At most it might have been cross-posted on Wattpad, since when the fic site fell, many fics were saved to be posted on Wattpad, but I can't find it either.

It was an ABO royalty fic where H is a prince set to marry princess lottie but lottie is secretly dating niall who was a fisherman [I think] and when H visits the tomlinson kingdom to meet lottie, lottie right away introduces H to her brother louis who is an omega prince that has been locked away in a secret section of the castle his whole life due to the fact he is a male omega [and royalty] which is rare and makes him a target. Lottie introduced H to louis that way H would become interested in louis and not her. They both end up mating niall and louis and not each other as the king initially planned. honestly i dont remeber much of what happened in it, but there was a scene where ilya was already feeling quite self conscious and thinking he was bad. he's calling shane for something and shane mentions that he only came out to or first came out to ilya in tampa. ilya tells shane he's sorry for laughing at him and shane is like oh u really want to feel like an asshole or hate yourself something like that.

I encourage everyone to bookmark what they love, and go through your history to save what you can, especially if you have a very old account (my history goes back to 2013).

Once a fic is orphaned it can't be deleted, but it's very sad that it can't be searched for either.
