Well yeah, didn’t Kesha come out that she had a tail when she was little, like I wonder how many people there are with an elongated tailbone.

From what I’ve read on the internet, it’s rather uncommon, and generally the tailbones aren’t all that longer than regular ones, just enough that they become painful sometimes, because they stick out a little bit. But no proper tails. Unbelievable. Humans have grown horns from their heads, but apparently actual tails aren’t a thing.

Harriet forever will be one of my most favorite Doctor Who characters and I’ll agree, that was one of my favorite running jokes from the show as well. Though I’ve always loved the Dalek’s as well. Well color me shocked that you’ve read anything about me, but yeah that’s exactly what happened. I wrote it when I really felt like I was at my lowest and I remember breaking down at least 5 times during the recording it. But yeah, the original recording was far better than anything else I performed when I was calmer and less falling apart. Raw emotion in song is really what makes the best music. I feel like lately a lot of singers and performers are missing that, which is a shame. I know I connect better to songs when you can feel the real emotions behind it. Oh I cried like a baby when Keala performed as well, This Is Me is such an amazing song and the emotion behind the words when she sings it is powerful. So you were not alone in that reaction, my friend, I was an absolute mess as well.

Mine too! Such a strong character, and funny, too - the best kind of character, if you ask me. Another personal favourite is Martha; she’s often far too underrated by fellow fans. I can’t even, for the life of me, remember where I read that, but I must have read it forever ago, and somehow retained that tidbit of information because I found it so fascinating. I’m glad you decided to stick with that recording - it was very brave, and very honest. This Is Me is an unbelievable song. I swear I fall more in love with it every time I hear it, and I listen to it a lot! As well as sing it very loudly and terribly in the shower.
