parts of cynthia’s book, John, that hit me in the heart
after they hooked up for the first time john asked “what are you doing tomorrow, and the next day, and the next” and cynthia said “seeing you.”
john bought instant tan when it first came out and tried it with cynthia. they both looked awfully yellowed and giggled about it

John loved watching Julian at bath time and would cuddle him before bed
when cynthia was finally confirmed as john’s wife john said; “you should never have had to hide, cyn.”
john loved shopping and would get excited and end up buying julian loads of toys. even ones that he wouldn’t be able to play with at his age.
he would buy cynthia lingerie that were extravagant and would dance with her
julian once assembled a complicated toy and john was ecstatic saying; “that’s my boy! I couldn’t have done that myself!”
in august 1965 he sent a letter to cynthia about how much he loved julian and awful he felt about being awful from him all the time and that he wanted to just be a good father for him
john’s favorite treat was Rice Krispies
when john confessed he’s cheated multiple times and cynthia said “that’s okay.” and john put his arms around her and said, “you’re the only one I’ve eve loved, cyn. I still love you and I always will.”
yoko stalked them and harassed john
cynthia would always ask about yoko later on and john once said, “it’s you I love cynthia. I love you now more than I ever have before.”
john wouldn’t talk to cynthia over their divorce bc he hated confrontations
when john and her split paul came to see her and brought a red rose. “how about it, cyn?” he said when offering that the two of them got married
john and yoko came to a party cynthia hosted and yoko tried to talk to her and compliment how well julian was raised. only days after she complained about how julian was raised. cynthia suspected it was to look good in front of company.
after avoiding cynthia for a long time john finally sat down and talked to her once. she said it was like they were finally becoming friends again.
“julians a lovely boy. I can’t believe how grown up he is. he’s not a little boy anymore. I can really talk to him now.” -john
john once told julian he hated is life and still to this day julian is insecure about it
when John died yoko made julian help her tell sean about it. and when explaining it they said the man who killed him would go to court. sean said, “do you mean a basketball court or a tennis court?”
julian said when he entered yoko’s room after John;s death she was calm and collected. and asked him if he wanted her to show him the steps john died on.
before julian went back to england yoko asked if he wanted one of john’s guitars. he asked for the one guitar he really liked and yoko said no.
john wrote in his will that he wanted julian to have his notebooks and yoko never gave it to him
cynthia received letters from a psychic after john’s death saying that john regretted the way he ended their relationship
john once told julian, “if anything ever happens to me, look for a white feather and you’ll know I’m there, looking out for you.”
any time cynthia saw a white feather she thought of john
