This is Where The Healing Begins
I have been trying to make sense of a lot of what is happening in my small little world... and to be honest I can't. To anyone who struggles with a chronic illness you know what I mean when I say that sometimes you do not understand your world anymore. Life is shattered daily by pain, discomfort, fatigue, you name it; in our worlds this is the normal day to day. Honestly, I am done with it. I have PCOS and Endo and life feels like a whirlwind of an experience. Going to college and working and also remaining healthy has been so hard. I got a tattoo my second week here it reads "healing is not linear" with a heartbeat symbol and it is a daily reminder that I am alive and that while life has ups and downs, your story isn't supposed to look the same as others. You are unique and everyone has a story, everyone fights battles. But today I am thankful for friends. The ones who love me unconditionally and rally around me and don't judge me when I tell them I am too tired to do something or not feeling well. Even if this is a daily saying. Sometimes I am able to push through it and I utilize that time with them and my family and doing the things I love. But other times the weight is so strong it sinks me. We should all remember though... the destination is not possible without the journey (no matter how troublesome it may be).
-make time for yourself today and always... you deserve to be kind to yourself
