Premise of the fic based on slight canon:

Somehow Engie manages to cause the quiet rapture and tries again and again to fix his mistakes. He has one success and one near success, the success being the phm universe because he manages slowing down the decay of the stars but then the astrophage come out of nowhere, basically rendering his efforts futile until Ryland comes along. The near success is teos, where he somehow manages to make the elephant monster thinking it would help but then it goes on a rampage and kills people in their sleep. Engie takes all the people alive on teos Earth to the phm universe so they can live, but they crash into the middle of the ocean on Earth, where Colt is busy being a stuntman for a new movie and that spaceship crashing makes the perfect shot for the movie. I think we all know the general story for the ColtLandGentry siblings. Gentry gets put in jail for killing their father, Ryland gets sent to space and Colt goes around everywhere looking for Grace till he figures out he’s in space. He and Gentry meet and try to figure out a way to get Ryland back, when a literal spaceman comes knocking on their door. Engie fixes up the Invincible 3, Gentry falls in love with Dave, Colt keeps staring at Engie’s muscles and then freaks out when Engie says he put one repair protocol in and 15 self destructs. They blast off, meet Simon and Grace who are just sipping tea, chaos ensues, and Rocky and Adrian cower at the front door.

BONUS: The End of the world trio could be siblings and like Simon’s mom did some weird thing to send them to different universes so they would be safe but it didn’t work for Simon. Could be why Dave has those cult dreams and why Engie would have a slight memory of both his siblings (I hc him as the oldest).
