hello summer, hello pride, and ofc hello pandemic OC revival

a friend and I have decided that it's the perfect time to get back into drawing a couple of losers (affectionate) that we loved 5 years ago and actually give them lore. I've been doing nothing but drawing them for far too many hours. I will maaaayyyybe post the comic i've been working on or the insane amount of other drawings, but for now, the redraws of the ancient texts. Oh how our styles have changed....

So I started my masters program!

I've been so busy I haven't drawn in weeks.

One of my first assignments was a whole short story in a week. The only way I know how to encourage myself to write is by drawing, so have these. Now my homework is to fuck this character up as per my profs feedback.

So sorry for straight up vanishing for a long time. Life got a little weird and very stressful for a hot minute and to be honest I sort of just stopped engaging with a lot of things, including doing what I love like drawing and posting my fanart and any art in genral.

I've actually been locked in drawing recently a lot of stuff for my stories and then never posting it either and I've always posted mainly fanart on here, and I felt a little weird just suddenly only posting my original art here for some readon, but I think I'm going to start posting that here as well since I simply cannot be bothered to create another blog or anything like that. Plus I have a lot of unfinished fanart I haven't touched in years and/or never posted so I think I'll post them interlaced.

Just thought I wuold give a little update and say (though with no certainty) that I'm going to be posting again :)

To be honest, I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do with Gaheris and Gareth despite how much I love them, but i did start out with a very cunty sketch, so he remained that way.

Another round of them! becuase I love them and I'm keeping myself sane (procrasinating work). Thank you for all the love on my initial round, I hope you like whatever I have going on for this batch :)

I've offically come full circle a decade later since I'm back hyperfixating on the Arthurian legend distracting myself from everything and listening to the same music as my 14 year old self was. But hey at least I have the confidence in drawing them now.

I love them so so dearly I'm going just a little insane, I'm sorry to everyone who doesn't know me beyond my usual fandoms, you have to put up with what rearranged my brain chemistry when I was a kid.

This started as just a few of the knights, Lancelot, Gawaine, and Galahad and then it became: "Oh but then I should draw __" and here we are. My designs are all over the place and I cannot be bothered to actually draw armor I'll die i just want to draw pretty patterns. But I think the mismatch of clothing styles and all that makes it cohesive?

And I'm going with Malroy and T.H White influence as it's what I know best, that being said all the boys have their coat of arms alluded to in some way but you might have to squint.

Anyways it's been a stressful one for me. Hope you all have a lovely New Year and here's hoping then next one is a good one!
