mini rant- i used to be really into computers and software and operating systems, but i feel pretty dissatisfied in todays technology 💔 computers will always hold a dear spot to me despite that so i just felt like it needed to be included.

favorite things to cook:
buffalo chicken mac and cheese. recently ive been craving it but dont have the energy to cook the chicken so i add a drop of siracha into my mac and its a real game changer.
the viral pasta with cream cheese added. its literally spaghetti sauce with ground beef and cream cheese added into it. i like it over penne noodles!!!

i was training a young person at work, and she referred to sexual assault as "SA" out loud, and i immediately was like, "no, it's sexual assault, call it what it is," bc idgaf if the algorithm overlords have taught y'all that you should fear direct language, how tf do any of you expect to ever address real issues with any amount of seriousness if you can't even say the words? imagine an advocate looking a sexual assault survivor in the eyes and asking "did he grape you?" it's absolutely fucking absurd, but these young interns and new hires are coming into an environment where we deal with survivors of all different kinds of abuse, and they're coming with the mindset that the words are as bad as the actions, and that makes them shitty at the job and look juvenile af
i HATE self-censorship for a lot of reasons, but being in crisis work makes it even more frustrating. who are you censoring for? like i am being so fr, WHO are you censoring for? have you even thought it through? people who have been raped know that they have been raped. if someone attempts suicide or is grieving someone who did, saying "sewer slide" isn't going to protect them from any of the feelings. a murder victim's family isn't going to feel better bc you said "unalived" instead of murdered. if anything, it's just extremely invalidating and othering. it's saying "what happened to you is so bad that i won't even say the word," which is NOT trauma-informed care. you are not protecting survivors/victims when you self-censor. the ONLY things you protect when you self-censor are the puritanical ideologies that are being encouraged by rich fascists who want your money and obedience

genuinely cant justify anything jeffery does. he literally goes into the girls locker room and takes a nude pic of nicole and sexually harassed her verbally.
i honestly think its mostly because hes a nerd and people relate to being an outcast. heck even i felt the way he felt… back in middleschool.
however there is a fine line between being a nerd and just being disgusting and jeffery exceeds that line
in the first game, after nicoles graduation speech, jeffery comes up to jecka and nicole to complain about how she ruined graduation.
this is when nicole and jeffery both open up about struggles in their lives, jeffery completely blames nicole for getting harrassed. he literally even says “i dont think that should happen to any girl! granted shes not mean.” (dont remember which game)
if you want to truly relate to a nerdy character take Ari or Karen but jeffery is an absolute maniac and probably on the same level as nicoles brother.
idk if its cus its practically the only game i grew up with, or if i just like being able to build a cabin by a river in a fir forest without someone in a higher position of power telling me i need to pay my arm and heart for the land.
maybe its the fact that by making a farm i can provide food for the entire server while someone adventurous will bring me home goodies in exchange for food.
or the redstoner down the street to install my doorbell while i kindly make a cake to return the favor?

How Tatsuya Endo managed to create a story of the greatest spy in their country married to one of the best assassins in the country, who also happens to be the sister to one of the fastest rising ranked SSS officer, and have a telepath daughter, who the ex-Prime Minister's son has a crush on, and a future-seeing dog seem so natural and organic is beyond me.
i will never stop loving how dr stone gives us a stoic supergenius protagonist who's always idolizing science and logic and stuff and then instead of going the easy route and using that framework of cold logic to make him some aloof holier-than-thou figure who's above such petty things as "emotions" and "friendship" the show goes no! senku is actually a deeply compassionate person because that is in fact the logical conclusion to come to. there is no such thing as a lone genius. science is a collaborative effort, built upon the shoulders of those who came before. all of senku's vast mountains of knowledge would amount to absolutely nothing if it wasn't backed up by taiju's strength, yuzuriha and kaseki's crafting skills, chrome's ingenuity, the practical experience of people like ukyo and ryusui, the many individual skills of each and every person in the kingdom of science, the tens of thousands of years of human progress it took to build up those stores of knowledge in the first place, and the eternal faith and support of his father byakuya. every action senku takes is not simply borne out of devotion to science, but out of devotion to this specific understanding of science - the understanding that scientific progress is inextricably linked to society itself and that one cannot exist without the other. senku may be the smartest man alive (not to mention the de facto leader of humanity's remains), but he still recognizes that he is only a single man, no more or less important to humanity's survival than anyone around him.

this anime had easily became my top 1 favorite anime!
i love the idea of human civilization pausing for a mysterious reason and i loved how they showed real life science to rebuild and find out the cause, and i loved how they mentioned how in our world we have to BUY land BUY medicine and GUNS KILL and senku is just like. SCIENCE!!!! and eventually everyones like oh wait he knows what hes doing and cooperates.
another thing is just i love the idea of the earth continuing without human civilization and completely thriving thousands of years later.
Minecraft is my favorite video game because i love how i can build and created whatever i want, Dr. Stone is basically this in an anime form.
MAJOR SPOILERS (talking about the finale)
one critique that i have is that it didnt really make sense that why man was literally just a million medusas. like i understand that they do not know their creator either idk just doesnt make logical sense.i was hoping to see how they were made. I also wanted a flashback of the day 3700 years ago when they turned everyone to stone in their perspective.
other than that it was a really good anime and honestly one of the best there is in my opinion!
