little color experiment with sona guy
i think when i was younger i had a really intentional relationship with color in my art that i have less of now. i really do like my normal pallet and its nice on the eyes but i think i used to color with symbolism in mind and i wanted to try doing that again :)

Canary Baratheon is a reincarnation of Canary Lannister, and Waters is a reincarnation of them both. Doe & Waters both get flashback-esque visions and memories, especially when near a location they'd been in the previous life ( As seen in Back to Blackwater Pier ) or when near someone they knew before. ( Aemon and Waters )
Doe remembers Aegon, but doesn't rlly know enough about history to figure out he's literally remembering Aegon II. Waters remembers Aegon, Aemond, Lyonel and Baelor. Which is undoubtedly why Waters is so erratic...

Do you know about pigeons? I remember when we used to befriend them. We used to keep them, feed them, name them. They were a friend, a pet. We adored them. All of us.
I don't recall how long ago this was, now. But the tides turned. They turned, and in their stead left millions upon millions of feathered friends confused as to why the species that took them in kind had suddenly stopped feeding regardless of whether or not they bit.
They are incapable of understanding why. We ourselves don't know.
Just as Laika did not understand, just as Opportunity will never return from mars. These things will never know why they had to meet the fates they had, we simply just did not love them enough. That is the cruelty of anything that lives. We cannot help the fact that at times, we simply just do not love something.
It does not matter if it deserves it, or if it needs it, you cannot force yourself to love something. You cannot force anything to love you, either. It is spontaneous, unwanted and so often cruel. Even so, it is the most beautiful thing that comes from the earth.
Fire, made in the heart's image, will keep one warm and end another. Even within the same breath. And it cares not. It runs rampant as if it were a rabbit that ran in a field of alfalfa. Without rule, quietly it lives and nothing around it matters. It runs, and runs, caring not for what is within its path.
What is the flame if not an excited, overbearing child? And even then, we created her. We discovered her, cold and afraid. And as humanity does, we turned our back on it the same.
We do the same to ourselves. Others. The hearts that beat in a mortal becomes the very curse you wish to rid. Yourselves, others.
Eternity makes only an ouroboros, there is only so much of you.
You will find it very hard to be anything that is not an overbearing child, or a rabbit in a field. A flame, yourself, others, a pigeon.

drabble about Waters chasing Ghost around, idek ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
“ Where’s Ghost? “ Jon asked, shaking out his coat from the snow. Sam looks over with a smile, swallowing a bite of bread before he responds. “ Think Canary took him for a walk. “ Jon’s eyes went round. “ What? Ghost isn’t always friendly. “ Sam shrugs. “ They seemed to get along. “
Jon’s jaw tightens, and he’s quick to put his coat back on. The door shut heavy behind him and Sam turns to the boy he was eating with. “ You think the wolf's gonna eat him? “ Sam winces through the other boy’s laugh. “ You’d eat him first. “ Sam is unamused.
Jon is fighting off the cold embrace of panic, as the snowflakes speckling his nose were already making quick work of his body. “ Ghost? “ He calls out, eyes narrowed to spot the white pup. A seemingly impossible feat. Jon frowns.
“ Watch out! “ Canary shouts as he runs past. Jon nearly jumps out of his skin. “ What – “ His ask is quickly shot down by Ghost following close behind. He sighs in relief before realizing that Ghost was chasing Canary. Panic rises from the dead in Jon’s bones. His feet move faster than his head, and he almost topples over trying to catch up with them. “ Ghost! “ He yells. “ No! “
Canary’s foot catches on a rock of some sort, sending him tumbling into the snowy pillow below. The wolf follows soon after, tackling. Jon is mortified before the sound of Canary’s giggling echoes. His lips quiver. “ You– “ Ghost laps at Canary’s face, to which Canary gently pushes him away. “ What? “ He asks, still chuckling. “ He’s wild! He could have killed you! “ Jon exclaims. Canary rolls his eyes, making his way back on his feet. He pats his knees.
“ Come on, your turn! “ Canary grins at Ghost. He circles him once before bolting off, and Canary follows hotly behind. Jon’s jaw goes slack. What was wrong with this guy? He can’t help but think.
