Hamato Yoshi and Miyamoto Yoshiro with their little ones!! Gotta love our rat and rabbit dads. I've been meaning to draw @tmnt-tychou's Brotherhood Splinter for a long time cuz I love the way he looks. I just thought of doing this little crossover between her Brotherhood version and my UY reimagining since I know how much she loved my version of Usagi's dad! So here they are! I hope I made justice to your designs of the Hamato family! 🙏

Currently watching: I'm...not actually watching anything, right now. Been dealing with some medical symptom flareups this summer, so I've tried to reduce screentime. I guess, if anything, I've been keeping watching the new Monster High webisodes as they release?

Currently reading: I've actually been meaning to pick up a new book to read! Just haven't decided which one. Maybe I'll re-read an old favorite, instead...

Current obsession: Scrubs XD If that weren't obvious! And Monster High, as always. I've also been having fun diving back into Dragon Ball GT nostalgia with my Fast Forward AU. And as usual, I have Wicked and/or Elvis on the brain in some capacity.

Currently working on: I'm trying to finish a little reel project on instagram--started the last drawing I need for it! I'm also sloooowly (so very slowly) trudging through a massive fanfiction project. It's been on hold while I combat brainfog. I'm also usually always plucking away on original stories in the background, building headcanons, gathering face claims, making edits and whatnot.

Oh and I started this thing, too?? Planning to use it as a way to keep my muse afloat until this health stuff heals. As you can see, I haven't done much, yet X'D hopefully soon.

Last google search: I was looking for a height comparison site in order to make a chart for the cast thus far in Dragon Ball: Fast Forward. I found the site, and the chart is done :)

Current Obsession: Zenless Zone Zero. This game has been so much fun to play and explore, I love the amazing art style, the soundtrack, the gameplay and especially the characters!! It’s absorbed so much of my time 😂😂😂😂

Currently Working On: A TON 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m working on like… five different one shots and AU’s it’s so many to keep track of. I’m working on a series of one shots that form a narrative for Bleach, so once I finally finish the first part I’ll share it!!

Here's my version of Usagi's parents for my UY reimagining!! We never really know much about his dad and his mother is pretty much a nonexistent character, so I have a lot of freedom to explore their personalities and relationship with Usagi.

Yoshiro (義郎) is the headman of his home village and is fully dedicated to his job. As a typical man of this era, he isn't really one to express his feelings or have deep talks, but he deeply cares for his family and village.

Chiyoko (千代子) is a loving mother and wife. Surprisingly, she's the one to encourage Usagi the most to become a samurai. About her design, I decided to push myself to try something different and tried to mimic a taregami kind of hairstyle with her long ears (I know it's a Heian era hairstyle but hey, I couldn't miss the opportunity that she's a lop eared rabbit). It's far from perfect, but I'm quite proud that I didn't go with the easiest option. I was also inspired by ancient paintings of court ladies to give her a round face and fine eyes!
